This is a hidden gym of Newmarket, Virginia. If you’re looking for real home cooked meals just like grandma fixed. This is your spot. They always say go where the locals go. Well this is where the locals go and once you eat there, you’ll understand why great food for an amazing value.
I was visiting this part of Virginia and came across this place while I was looking for a bite to eat. The food was really good, wholly satisfying, and it reminded me of what I grew up on. Service was top-notch, and made me wish I could come by more often. I really enjoyed the Southern décor, especially in a town like New Market, steeped as it is in the history of the War Between the States. Yankees will complain about it, but then again what don’t they complain about? All...
The sausage gravy was the best. I had scrambled eggs with sausage. The sausage was sourced locally, amazing. Blue berry pancakes were fabulous! Our waitress, I think Shana(sp) was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place.
