Anyone know the number to the building owner looking to take over the lease this place has been closed for most of its existence
ON MY MOMMA THAT SH*T LIK THATBEST JAMAICAN FOOD
This is my third or forth time trying to support this establishment. I have been trying to eat here since it opened but can't cause they are never open. How are you closed mid day on a Saturday when it says you supposed to be open. I give up at this point.
Good food, friendly atmosphere.

I love this place!! I love that you get 3 sides with the Large Oxtail.. other places you only get two. The oxtail was great, flavor was good and it wasnt fatty. Mac was good .. i did add a little salt to it. i did not care for the cabbage it lacked flavor.. Food portions are huge and the service was great very welcoming!!! no long wait ether overall i will be eating here again and again.

Allspice kitchen is the best Jamaican food restaurant in the 757 area. The oxtails, macaroni n cheese, candied yams n homemade collard greens are very good. The customer service is excellent as well. If I could give a 10 rating I would. Keep you the Good work Allspice kitchen you definitely make your food with LOVE!!!

Haven’t been on this end of NN in a long time. I was looking for Dunn’s river but that’s no more. I stopped in for lunch because of the good ratings. I got a large j*** chicken with yellow rice, cabbage, Mac n cheese. Let’s get this out the way right now. That Mac n cheese is it! I saved that for last as I was eating. I was pleasantly surprised. The cabbage was bland, not much flavor to it. Not bad, just bland. The yellow rice was nice and starchy but lacks flavor, the j*** sauce sort of helped out with that. The j*** chicken…..once I opened the box I got a nice whiff of the pimento (allspice) used in the j*** sauce and probably the marinade for the chicken. I thought to myself ok, we’re on the right path. The j*** sauce was good so no complaints. The chicken was tender, however, it could use a little more time marinating before cooking, to make sure that good j*** season gets all the way in there. I may be wrong but it tastes like it was grilled over a wood fire possibly, if so, is definitely a plus. The service was prompt and courteous. You can do a lot worse for $15 bucks after tax, but for a solid lunch, this hits the spot. I will come back and see what the oxtails are about and also check those rice and peas for that hint of coconut milk and a little scallion. Give these folks your business!
