I come here almost everyday because I love it. Aroma is such a nice and welcoming atmosphere and the vibe is so positive. I usually come after the gym, but today I was just so tired, so I came in a sweaters and leggings, but there's business casual, friends meeting for lunch, someone watching a movie on their laptop, someone working. It really is a place for everyone. I order the honey do latte and it's the only thing I get because I don't like switching up my order lol. I tried the bagel sandwich and the huevos rancheros and both are pretty mediocre. The baristas are so nice and gave me info on the Saturday markets over here.

My broccoli cheese soup tasted burnt, and the curry chicken salad sandwich was so hot/ spicy with red pepper or a Cajun type seasoning that it was inedible. :( Latte was good though.

Our nearby hotel has no meals. We found eating at Aromas to be a great upscale cafe with a menu that excels beyond pastries and instant oatmeal. Their French Toast with apples, and western styled scrambled eggs were loved by my family. My cream cheese and lox bagel was good. I feel we will go back tomorrow, mainly for their coffee and mango smoothie. I might even go for a pastry.

Food good. Hours terrible. How does a coffee shop not open until 8am on week days- especially one located in a business district?

I used to go to the Aromas in CW all the time when I worked down there! Totally forgot there was one in Newport News! I love their iced s'mores coffee and almond joy coffee! But I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with anything you choose! I haven't tried a lot of food there....yet....but last week I had the bacon, egg and cheese croissant and it was delicious! The staff is wonderful as well! Always ready to answer questions! And Danielle is THE BEST! We always have the best convos when I stop in! Last week was about tattoos!

Immaculate. I had the chai tea latte and it reminded me of home. I had it with oat milk and the taste was excellent. It was very sweet and not bland at all, like other chai lattes. The only thing that I hate it that it wasn't spiced at all. If you're the type of person who likes "spicy" chai lattes, this is definitely not for you. It tasted more like a hot chocolate than a chai tea.

There's nothing more frustrating than deciding on a location between several options - only to get there an realize that they are closed - although Yelp and Google report they are open. It's very important to abide to the hours of operations you set forward especially in today's health conscious environment. Or if you decide to deviate there should be a sign or update on said sites.
My coffee was good but my son ordered a plain Turkey and cheddar sandwich, they soaked it in mustard and added lettuce and tomatoes then wouldn't do anything about it

This is close to a starbucks, but better. It’s relaxing with tables and soft chairs to relax or read the paper. The coffee choices are great also and they serve breakfast and lunch specials. I like the bagel w lox,tomato,and onion. But they have a full selection of pastries including a 4” slice of apple pie. These change on a regular basis.
