Great beer, great burgers, great people all in all. I got the bourbon and brew burger with tater tots and it was arguably one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had. Also really like the idea for you to serve yourself however much beer you’d like and pay by the ounce. They’ve also got some board games at the front so you can hang out and relax with some friends. Definitely will be back soon

I wish I remembered to take pictures of our food!!! We were greeted immediately upon entering with a welcoming & warm smile. The nice gentleman convinced us to stay by telling us about the establishment & beer ?? choices. Burger ? selection was crazy ridiculous with anything & everything you could or would want in a burger. Burgers, onion rings & sweet potato tots came out fast and hot. Flavorful food, awesome service & I'm not even a beer drinker but I think I just became one thanks to Beervana LOL. ? I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. I will tell everyone about this place & bring other people with me. Thank you for upholding your pride in service & showing us that you know how customers are supposed to be treated.

The burgers are great - but a hidden gem on the menu is the deluxe grilled cheese at a good price. The best local American style food place around, with a great rotating selection of local beers. One of the few places to have local craft selections from places like Rip Rap Brewing and Virginia Beer Co on tap. Has comfortable outdoor seating for the warmer months and a relaxed feel on the inside. Would recommend supporting this local joint!

Fantastic burgers and beer at this small tap house in Newport News. When we've been able to get it and have a burger we've always been delighted by the food and the staff. However, three separate times my wife and i have gone the the hours listed on yelp & google have been wrong or there was a private event that wasn't listed anywhere so we were unable to dine. We just want your food!

Just had lunch at Beervana with my husband and kids. We all enjoyed our meals. I had the Brie and fig stuffed burger. It was delicious, I enjoyed the sweet and salty flavor on a juicy burger. My husband had the pimento cheese stuffed burger and he liked it. Anything pimento will draw him in. My son had the cheddar and bacon stuffed burger with the tater tots. He ate every bite and was in a food coma on the drive home. The tater tots were surprisingly our favorite side of all the meals. We tried them all. They're crunchy and that's what makes them so great. But my daughter said she really liked the fries. The service was great. The taphouse tastings were explained and they have an incredible selection of beers for a good price. I walked out with a couple of new favorites beers to lookout for. Overall it was a great experience from the food to the beer flights. I will come here again.

The staff really know beer, no surprise. They have an amazing number of taps, and change them up fairly often so you can always find and try something new. The food is good too. I had one of the best mushroom Swiss burgers ever.

Come for the burgers, and also get beer. We came here because of the variety of beers let's is sample offerings from many different breweries in one place. I made a tactical error of beginning with a medium sized glass because I was really in the mood for a brown ale. It was good, but the reason you are drinking here is to try lots of things, so stick to the taster glasses. I almost made another error of not getting a burger. That would have been tragic, but luckily I hadn't had time for lunch today. The food was great, and that let's me give this place 5 stars without reservation. Even if all the local breweries decided to only make sour beer with chunks of lollipop in it, you could have a great burger and fries while trying to figure out which brewery did the best job with a terrible idea, and it would be a good night.
I'm not big on superlatives but that was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Same for my son.

We had a great time here. We aren’t huge beer drinkers so this was a low stress opportunity to try out new beers in smaller quantities. They also have some really good food and some board games! The price is also reasonable and the owners are involved in the success of the business.

When I found this place I was excited to try their food. Service was amazing on Sunday. Tuesday was the complete opposite. I walked in no one was at the front to great me and when my order was being taken by the gentleman i could tell I was bothering him and taking my was the last thing he wanted to do.
