Very nice open space. Strictly bizness band was good. Fries were soaked in oil plus heavily salted , couldn't eat them. Food selection well to be frank go eat a meal somewhere else then come here.

I had a great experience at Boathouse Live and enjoyed myself thoroughly for Cradle of Filth. I recently heard that they are shutting down, but I hope this is not true because it was a good venue and I was happy with the VIP area that was provided. If they do remain open I would recommend visiting for a good show!

Showed up for a concert placed was closed no signs on the door and no money refunded. Drove 40 miles one way to get there. They cant even have one person to tell you what was going on. Unprofessional.

The entertainment (Drag Show) was awesome. With tickets for 1100, we stood in line till past 1130. When we finally got in the door and found open seats our server showed up fairly rapidly and took our order; mimosas, and a choice of entrees from the menu (brunch). We finally received our drinks after abt 45 minutes, and my meal (Bacon and eggs) about 15 minutes later (cold, not even luke warm). My wife's meal (bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit) after an hour and a half (but at least hot). The drinks were good though, and didn't skimp on the alcohol.
This is a very nice venue! My friend and I attended the "who's bad" Michael jackson experience. It was so good. $15 was not bad for this professional and dedicated cover band. Bartenders are very personable and fun. Will definitely go again. They book cool acts.

The food is immaculate. I always recommend the mac and cheese. The staff is nice and personable. As a music venue they have one of the best sound systems on the Hampton/ Newport News side of the water. They also book great talent.
