You should support businesses, not just for their quality of food, or coffee in this case, but also for how much their owners care about their customers. I just had a canvas employee drive to my house in Williamsburg, to hand deliver 2 bags of coffee because the USPS took over 12 days to get my order to me. That's WAY above and beyond. Thanks guys!

Canvas Coffee is the ideal spot for working/studying. It's fairly quiet so you can focus on the task at hand. The coffee is Sublime, while their menu is somewhat small the specialty items that they have are excellent. They also sell some food primarily a waffle and chocolate truffles. I highly recommend this place for a sit down coffee in a nice atmosphere.

Their lattes were AMAZINGSadly they are closedIt is now a coffee shop called Busy Nothings (to our surprise today). I won’t leave a negative review for a new business but suffice it to say Canvas will be missed and the new shop doesn’t make the same high-quality lattes.

I like to check out all the coffee shops in the 757 and this one was probably the most underwhelming and it was surprising since the reviews were so high But ultimately I chose not to even order a drink... due to lack of variety on the menu.... reason I gave a three-star is because the atmosphere was nice and it seems to have potential.. but if I just want a boring mocha latte I'll go to starbucks..Starbucks... I go to coffee shops to get fancy flavors and unique drinks. For example I went to a coffee shop recently that makes their own syrups and they had a crazy amount of dessert flavors and it was just amazing also there wasn't much as far as pastries displayed or even a menu for food that seemed interesting I believe there was four items where you could get something to eat... idk may come back in the future and try again but I'm going to have to be in the mood for just a plain coffee..

I’ve been going to Canvas since it opened and I have thoroughly enjoyed everything they have done and are continuing to do to grown their business. The atmosphere is very relaxing whether you’re in the cafe or enjoying the outside patio furniture. The staff is extremely friendsly and personable, and Alex is so knowledgeable in all things coffee he has never led me astray with his suggestions and creations. The newest addition to an already delicious coffee is the waffle with hazelnut/chocolate spread and fresh fruit. The fluffiness of the inside of the waffle paired with the crispy outside was great on its own- and then add the spread and fresh fruit and it’s out of this world! Definitely recommend getting over there first thing when they open to enjoy this tasty addition, or stop by after work (they’re open later-yay!) to have a cup and decompress after a long day.

Hours on yelp say open but at 9 am they are closed and not open till 1130 AM. What coffee shop isn't open till lunch? Doesn't make sense to me. Off to Starbucks I go!

Wow!! The barista was a true artist. I watched him making the drinks and he was so precise and meticulous. It truly looked like he cared about every detail and making the perfect drink. I got a spicy Mexican mocha and it was absolutely amazing! Being from Cali not very many people get it right but this was absolute perfection. What a wonderful little hidden gem.
