This place is usually packed. Biggest complaint is they need a bigger parking lot if they're gonna be feeding all of Va, lol. Call ahead and pick up your order is the way to go. Great food, great value.
The chicken is awesome and one of the best in the 757 area code when you can get it hot. The customer service can be sub par at times with extensive customer service training.However, to avoid the long wait time, I would strongly advise you to place your orders over the telephone! Overall, a must-to carryout for those desiring one of the best home fried chicken with a hidden recipe that far exceeds KFC's herbs, spices and seasonings!
First off, anyone reading this review, ignore the comments about the location and decor. Me personally, I grew up in the hood in Brooklyn and we didn't care about the decor or the location. IF THE FOOD IS GOOD! I DONT CARE WHERE I HAVE TO GO TO GET IT! There's other restaurants that are fortunate to have restaurants in prime downtown locations but these small "Hood Gems" hold special places in our hearts. The service was quick and i didnt mind ordering food...
