I just want to give a HUGE thank you to ZEKE!!! My daughter and I order ice cream from the city center practically every Saturday. Today, DoorDash was not cooperating, so I called and spoke with Zeke, who made sure my daughter got her ice cream. The smile on my baby's face, thanks to ZEKE, is all I could ask for. ZEKE definitely deserves to be acknowledged. Genuine customer service is hard to find these days. THANK YOU ZEKE!!!

Employees were nice. Price way too expensive 23 dollars for 1 shake and 1 ice cream cone. 7 dollars just for the cone, 7 dollar for ice cream and 7 dollars for shake. Ice cream is good but is just regular ice cream nothing special.

I tried several flavors before choosing what to take home. The green tea and lavender did not taste like I had envisioned. They tasted like vanilla ice cream that was colored with a hint of something that can't be made out.

I dont find the price of the toppings to be worth the price. I don't like how there are limited options to choose from like coldstone. Nothing to rave about here. If you want ice cream, you got ice cream.

Ice cream was OK. Kind of icy but it was the perfect creaminess. Just taste like average ice cream

Went in to get icecream with my two young kids today. I typically order them a small to split instead of two kid sizes. He showed me the kid cup (which looked almost the size of a sample cup) and it was $5. I told him i’ll just do the small and have them split it if i could get an extra cup. He hesitated and told me I could only have one flavor and I said that was fine.

After I got mine and my kids icecream, I asked/reminded him I would like an extra cup. He again hesitated and told me next time it would be 30 cents for the extra cup.

We won’t be returning, even though the icecream was good. Customer service and not nickle & diming your customers is the most important to me.

It's the only homemade ice cream place on the peninsula south of Williamsburg

Tried this place for the first time. I ordered a strawberry milkshake. They only had one size and that was ok. The strawberry ice cream was very pink which was a flag to me that there was artificial color and/or flavor. The milkshake was smooth and creamy but tasted like vanilla ice cream. You could see small specks of what I assume was strawberries. This shake has no strawberry flavor and for over $9 with tax, I expected 12 ounces bursting with strawberry flavor. The service was very good but I’ll pass on them next time.

We got a scoop of cheesecake flavor and a scoop of chocolate with a few toppings, I was already going to give them a great rating and then I noticed they mix your ice cream cold stone style if you ask, which made the whole experience even better! would highly reccommend.

Might as well buy ice cream from the grocery store. It's pretty sad for those of us who remember Maggie Moo's being here. The ice cream quality is just sad, nothing special, and all the flavor is very obviously essences, not real fruit or nuts..

The other reviews show pictures with cups that are filled properly and don’t completely make a gigantic mess the second you take the lid off. I just got 6 ice creams from here and they were so overfilled that taking the lid off coated me in the ice cream. I started with the least filled one too. It was melted when they put it in the cup because they were careless so it was a soupy mess in the cup from the time we went from the counter to the car right outside the door. All the reviews made this seem like a cute little spot but we won’t know because we’re vacationing and don’t even have access to a freezer to refreeze them. Literally spent $50 for nothing. My kids don’t even want anything to do with them because they’re such an awful mess.

Edit: Tried to mix in caramel I had from home to improve flavor and the sourness of the sweet cream was even worse. I threw it away.

My husband and I wanted to try a new ice cream place and we had it delivered. It was in a timely fashion which was great since evenings in the summer are usually busy. My husband liked his Red Velvet ice cream, however I got the Sweet Cream which had a weird after taste that made me want to throw it out and order Cold Stone/Dairy Queen.

Also, we paid $1.00 per topping so I was expecting a decent amount. I couldn't have been more wrong. They were TEENY TINY portions. See pictures. But essentially I paid $1 for 11 pieces of cookie dough.

I've been a Food And Bar Manager, so I've priced out food and toppings and the such before and this is hysterical that I paid $1 for maybe $0.25 worth of food. Yes I understand profits but grossly under giving your customers toppings is ridiculous. If I'm paying $11 for my ice cream, I'm going back to cold stone where they load the ice cream with the toppings.

This is my favorite ice cream shop around. I moved here from WI, where dairy products are rich and delicious. Everything around has disappointed me greatly, tastes ranging from frozen milk to absolutely nothing. This place, however, has made a massive impression on me. A small business with proper home made ice cream! I always have the cotton candy ice cream, it tastes so creamy and delicious. There's a lot of great flavors, and plenty of toppings you can add on top or mix into the ice cream. The ice cream looks plain and flat, but when you taste it it's a burst of that flavor! I always like to treat myself to it whenever I'm in the area.

Parking: Parking can be a little rough, but that's only because it's in the middle of the NN city center.

We got the chocolate, mint, and red velvet ice creams. They were all delicious! Everyone was really nice and there were tables out front to sit and enjoy our ice cream ?
