First time going to Corkscrews & Brews. My husband & I went at about 8am on a Friday and it wasn’t very busy. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, an iced coffee, a hot coffee and a warmed cinnamon bun. It was pretty good! Unfortunately, we did not receive our cinnamon bun and we didn’t realize it until after we left. Looks like they had a pretty good selection of wine and also frozen wine. I would go back and give it another try!
I spent a short time in Newport News for work, and as soon as I discovered this local shop I was here almost daily. The coffee is high quality and the food is great.
The atmosphere is definitely one where I could see myself sitting for a few hours to get work done on my laptop, and they even have wine to wind down with afterwards.
Every employee I had an interaction with was positive. They were friendly and communicative.

Do not pass this place up!!!! Owners are not only the kindest, but the drinks and food were absolutely amazing! Ate here two days in a row when staying at an Airbnb just behind the restaurant. Cannot wait to return!
