Let me say, I know it's not our waitress' fault, Lexi did as Ms. Mickie instructed. I ordered the shrimp and oyster special. BIG, big mistake.
First and fore most, they were cold. Second, there was only 4 medium (25-30 count) shrimp and 4 very small oysters. The price was $29. The children's portion of 12 fried shrimp plus fries was $20. I called the waitress back and pointed out the discrepancy and my displeasure. Lexi said nothing and took the plate. An acquaintance across the table exclaimed how disappointing that was. An appetizer perhaps? In a few minutes Lexi returned with 3 more shrimp added to the cold ones. I questioned, "You're kidding?" She said, 'what do you want me to do? I'm thinking, if that was the best you could do, take it back. I'll have the children's fried shrimp. I never saw the manager. She was obviously not concerned and couldn't be bothered.

We just stopped in there today after fishing on the pier to grab some take out. Calamari, she crab soup and shrimp attack. I went out to the truck to be with my grandson and my husband waited on the food. When he got back to the truck I thought that he really smelled bad from fishing, nope! As we're driving down the road I opened up the shrimp and voila there is the smell. They were either rotten or well on the way to being rotten. Closed that up and opened the she crab soup and I have never in my life tasted she crab soup so bad. Not one oz of flavor other than all the flour that was in it. Thought I could bring it home and give it some life but no can do. By the way where is the crab meat? Calamari was mediocre. I am so upset and disappointed. My husband who will eat anything could not stomach the smell of the shrimp. I threw it all in the garbage. Get it together Crab Shack because I will be letting people I know my experience. This is unacceptable and it will be a never, ever again!

Came in 1 1/2 hours before close and waitresses were very friendly. All with smiles! Food came out quick and was hot. The fish sticks are amazing. My boyfriend got a burger and that was gone very quickly. Must say we will come back!

Wow—we quit coming here for a while and this is why. 5 guests from out of the country and we got attitude from A to z including beverages and cold [wrong] food. Wait staff couldn’t even bother to walk to the end of the table to serve the food. Not only am I appalled by Crab Shack but I am horrified by bringing guests there.

Great location on the river. The service was prompt for our large group and everything was accurate, even with one of the waitresses being in training. Good was great and really reasonable for how expensive seafood seems to be now. We had a really good experience.

Owner was very rude and wouldn’t speak to us but followed us to our car to take a picture of our lisence plate… food was digusting and wasn’t cooked as good. The kitchen as flooding and it was on the waitress, took pictures of our licenses and called the police! Took 20 minutes for drinks ( it was red wine and top self Long Island) 45-50$ for soup, potatoes, and calamari! And it was disgusting…they were also racist and we to call the police because the owner followed us put and took the picture, we had too call the police just to complete the transaction. We are also law enforcement and military family but they judged us by appearance cause we are black.

I enjoyed eating at Crab Shack. I got a Blueberry Mule, which was good. For food, I got the She Crab Soup and Soft shell crab in a sandwich with slaw as the side. The soup was allright. I feel that it was very underseasoned. I really enjoyed the soft shell crab. The slaw was not so good- it had what tasted like Marzettis slaw dressing as the dressing part, and that was just added to the top and not mixed in with the cabbage. My colleagues had shrimp, Crab dip, and a salmon sandwich, they all seemed to enjoy their meals. The service was great and I also enjoyed the view. I would visit again, but I wouldn't get slaw or the she crab soup again!

I was so disappointed in this meal. I have been looking forward to the chance to go to this restaurant for a while. After looking at the menu, we asked the server for suggestions, but she didn't have any. She wasn't personable or interested in sharing whatsoever. We were celebrating my birthday and were happy to splurge. We ordered oysters as an appetizer, and they were not good. The oil definitely was not fresh that the fried oysters were fried in. The crab dip was good, not served piping hot, but good nonetheless. The bread served with it was perfectly toasted, and the hot crab dip was perfectly seasoned. For dinner, I ordered the crab stuffed salmon. It was served with a baked potato. My salmon was served raw. It was weird. The top portion of the salmon was overcooked, yet the entire inside was raw with cold to luke warm crab and cracker mixture stuffed inside. Our server never came back to check on us after our food was delivered. Eventually, I walked to the bar where our server was and brought my raw fish along. She just looked at me as I explained I did not want to eat it. I also was not interested in eating the meal if they were going to broil the same platter and give it back to me. She took the platter and headed to the kitchen as I asked if I were able to have something else? I was still hungry and wished I had kept my baked potato, or maybe the meal came with hushpuppies, or the server came around and asked if we would like to order anything in the meantime. I did not receive my baked potato back when my new meal arrived. My husband's meal was cold by now as he was waiting for me to have a meal to eat before he enjoyed his supper. His salmon was also partly raw in the center. He brought the majority of his home and recooked it in the airfryer. My replacement dinner took 22 minutes to arrive from the time I walked my platter to our server. I ordered the broiled platter. She never came back in the meantime. We definitely would have ordered another round of orange crush if she had! I wanted to have a birthday dessert as well. But our server never came back to the table after she dropped off my dinner she brought the check and deserted us! The oyster Rockefeller and stuffed mushroom left a lot to be desired. The crab cake was one of my least favorite parts of the meal. It was mush. I like mine with a little crust and hot all the way through from the broiler. I am still so disappointed. We kept this place in our pocket for a nice night out to dinner, but I doubt we will return.
Parking: The parking for the restaurant is at the front of the pier nearest the restaurant doors. There is a large amount of parking that is shared with the pier and public parking.
