When I looked around for coffee shops in Newport News, this place came up on my recommendation list as a favorite by locals. Located in city center, parking on a Saturday was no issue for me. The large space is welcoming and casual for a good conversation or to study or remote work. The staff is super friendly and gave amazing recommendations. We got 2 iced beverages - an iced dirty chai with praline flavor and a smoked salted caramel rye latte. The drinks were amazing and well...
Nice coffee shop, good coffee and good food items. The shop sometimes is a bit too busy with remote working or studying customers and parking can be very challenging but when it’s not in high traffic very nice spot to enjoy a caffeinated drink. They also have a bar with mixed drinks and beer, I don’t usually drink here but have grabbed a beer though.
I wanted to check out the vibe for artists and was curious about the food. I had only been one other time and was told by a fellow artist from Music and Arts that they do open mic nights on Thursdays. So, I finally had a night off from school and really hoped to unwind after working all day in VB, and coming over the bridge.
