Harpoon Larry's Fish House & Oyster Bar

Updating my review since the last few times we've come there have been issues. The food quality is very inconsistent. The same dishes we typically order such as the crab dip has been different the last couple times and not in a good way. Overloaded with Old Bay and very greasy. The stuffed flounder had a lot of crab shell or bone as well as the she crab soup. It happens sometimes, but this was a lot. Each bite, our guest was spitting out a shell. I also wouldn't recommend the Bermuda combo. It's bland and the shrimp was quite overcooked. We used to like this place a lot but when we spend at least $100 each visit, we hope for better food. Some servers are great, others are busy chatting and very slow. Also forgetting most of our orders.

From out of state. First time here. Overall good but expensive. Food quality okay. Found a few bones in the fish and shell piece in crab cakes

Came here with a coworker. The service was fast and friendly. Had the oysters and the server was able to recommend the best based on my taste. They were wonderful. Also had the flounder and some other seafood. All was really good. Will be back again if ever in the area.

Had dinner here the other night with my wife. It was our first time here and it was good. Not great. Had a couple minor issues like a filthy wine glass (lipstick all over the rim) an appetizer and an entry both coming out with missing ingredients. I would eat here again as the food we did get that was correct was in fact pretty good.

Visiting out of town. The service was great and our server was such a vibe. Shrimps and grits were really good.

We were a large party, service a little slow, but manageable

Food was very good - oysters were fresh, seafood salad was large, burger and fries better than most burger places. Waiter was great.

Always immaculate. Grab an oyster shooter and a Captain’s combo and you’re set. Best seafood I’ve had on the East coast.

Fantastic place for lunch or dinner. Haven't found a dish we haven't loved. Crab legs, seafood salad, stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes, crab dip, and so many more. Service is great. Definitely go, you won't regret it.

The food is outstanding! It’s wildly loud inside, and the outside patio area and decor could use a little more attention.

I was looking for seafood in the area at night. I found a local nugget in Harpoon Larry’s. I sat at the bar and had a great time laughing and talking with peeps. The food was the icing on the cake for the night! All round crowd, great seafood, and TV’s.
