My husband and I stayed at the beautiful huntington house for my birthday weekend and we had such an amazing experience. Robin our host was exceptional in settling us in and provided useful tips on what to do around Newport News. She went an extra mile to leave a lovely birthday surprise for us. The house has so much historic character. You can sit in the parlour and read a book or make some melodies on the piano in the study (like we did). Overall you will enjoy your stay.

I ordered a Jolly Gingerbread Bouquet from Sherris Berries. What Huntington House delivered looked like a 5 year olds art project, that failed art. The pineapple 'gingerbread' men that are supposed to be dipped in chocolate were only covered on the front.

Our cake was delivered and was exactly as I requested, tasted delicious, and we were also able to receive a fruit bouquet which is a new menu item being offered! This home is so elegant and relaxed, it was the perfect place for our family, friends, and extended family to gather. The catering was wonderful. Our son LOVES coffee, so we had a coffee bar that was unique as he is. I will definitely be using and referring this venue option a lot. Robin, thank you for such a special day.
