Jose Tequila's Mexican Grill and Bar

Second time there and even better than the first. Food is amazing and the portions are huge.

Everything about this place was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything was good, from the food to the service and the atmosphere, of course. It's a beautiful restaurant inside and out with plenty of space. The rice and beans were different than any other Mexican restaurant I have ever had in the area. The rice has peas and corn like I make at home feom scratch with tomato bouillon. The beans are made with a hint of something red as well. I'm not sure if there are red kidney beans included or some other bean. Possibly just the seasoning that changes the color and flavor. I liked the beans they just had too much cheese for me. The chimichanga and taco salad lunch special were plentiful. They were 12 lunches, so they should be. We'll try again for dinner sometime. Our server was attentive until the end when we had to wait for the check about 5 minutes. It wasn't bad, and there would have been a way to pay without him returning, so no biggie.

It can get packed (busy crowd ) in here.

Everything was just ok. It was busier than usual but the bar servers had to be hunted down to get second and third drinks.

Everything was okay until we got our checks and questioned gratuity being charged to a party of three. The short manager (Rafael or something is his name) came over and said we were charged gratuity because of where we were seated. Then he asked us to get up because other people were waiting for a table. He tried to bribe us with offering free shots if we agreed to get up. WE WERE STILL EATING!!! The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. I definitely don't plan to return. Until today I really enjoyed coming to this establishment. I will stick with La Parilla and Plaza Azteca from now on. Thanks Rafael, you are the absolute worst!

Terrible service. Came on Cinco Dey Mayo and was treated terribly. Was passed over at the bar multiple times after speaking to multiple bartenders. I witnessed a bartender tell another to serve someone else while I was placing an order. I will never return. 👎🏾👎🏾

Come for the food, stay for the drinks. Best margaritas in town. I normally don't even like margaritas, but these are great.

The food was fantastic. I got the grilled mushroom appetizer, which was once again fantastic. The service was equally fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. If you have a chance I recommend visiting this restaurant.

The Yucatan shrimp tacos were delicious the pico was fresh. Even with my husband's error on his dish they corrected it immediately. They served the meals so fast I couldn't believe it! I will be back

I always go to drink the incredible margarita but this time i went it tasted really bad also my sister had a skinny margarita and we had to return it back because it tasted like chemicals and when they brought a new one it was the same one just with more tequila had to return again until 3rd one was decent...

Would definitely go back
