Update TWO YEARS AFTER ORIGINAL REVIEW:2024 A few months ago, we sat down for dinner in restaurant and usually we have to ask for the white sauce no extra charge, this time I asked and the waiter said we would have to pay for it. My husband was frustrated, but we still wanted the white sauce so we said that’s fine. The waiter AGAIN said it would cost us and asked if we are sure we still want it, YES GIVE IT TO US FOR PETES SAKE. Why are y’all so stingy about this white sauce? Is it too much work to make it?? Then they brought out the most watery salsa. My husband was furious and told the same waiter this is not salsa and we need a better one. The waiter said this is what we get and there’s nothing left. My husband did not back down and told the waiter we cannot use this salsa and he needs to go to the back and get another bowl because this is not acceptable. The waiter came back with normal salsa and we showed him the difference between good and bad salsa. Yesterday, we ordered for pick up. We ordered a cheese enchilada like usual, but they must have New Mexicans working there because they didn’t even put enchilada sauce on our enchiladas….! We also didn’t get the free chips and dip they usually put in pick up orders. So it seems they are becoming more incompetent with the menu and want you to pay for chips and dip. After 8 years with them, we are done.2022 My fiancé and I have been going here for the past few years. First, the only problem was the chip girls; they never brought the white sauce when I asked for it and sometimes they would even give me attitude. Over several months, the chip girls got better. Servers are amazing and quick, we always got the right food and hot. However, I am disappointed when calling in. I called THE CORRECT RESTAURANT ON BLAND BLVD, I even still had the site up with their number on my phone that said BLAND BLVD, when my fiancé went to pick it up, they had the audacity to say I must have called the wrong one. I think they forgot the order. Like I said, the service in restaurant is amazing, food is quick and delish, but they didn’t have to lie about the order and put blame on me. I will say the best service there would be the waiters but everyone else like whoever answers the phone and front desk, could be better.
At first they were stingy on the chips and salsa but made up for it on our bill, great tip tactic!! Food was good overall and I was very impressed with how tender the beef was in the birria ramen. I wish they would offer some type of habanero, verde or any sauce for your meals that would need it like fajitas or pork belly tacos but it was hard to flag anyone down to ask. I had to ask for tortillas to eat my fajitas and for sauce that was supposed to come with empanadas. Fajitas shrimp was overcooked and dish was bland overall, hence the need for sauce...i had to borrow sour cream from someone to make my meal live up to it's menu status but overall everything was good!
Mexican food is okay, a bit pricey, at one time they had a tortilla machine in front of the restaurant that was like a huge robot that made fresh homemade tortillas while u waited for your meal. I mean they were delicious. But one day the machine was gone, I figure it was probably getting tuned up or clean but it just never returned. Kinda weird. The prices are a bit too steep, it's just so different coming from California how much more Mexican food is out here in the West Coast. And I can say the food is a good 6 out of 10. I mean it most def has room for better customer service. But its okay
Kevin was no bueno. He had an attitude and was rude from the time we got sat. And he gave slow service.

Although family I dined with seemed to enjoy their meals, I did not enjoy mine.I ordered the nachos Supreme to have as a meal. It was a flavorless affair. The chicken was shredded and tasted like they opened a can and dumped it on. Refried beans had zero flavor at all. Shredded lettuce tasted old and was wilted. All was topped with a solitary sliced tomato.I've had some good meals at Juan's in the past but not this evening. You guys need to completely overhaul this particular dish.It was awful.
Great food amazing customer service food is wonderful taste amazing staff are always working hard to provide a wonderful service I go there at least three or four times a week that's how good the food is just give it a try the food is mouth
My family and I really enjoyed the food. Wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. We definitely will be returning in the future.

My food was not so good. The fresh Guacamole was the biggest disappointment. It was full of Lime Juice. It completely overpowered the taste of the Guacamole. There was lime juice sitting on the top layer, I tried pouring some out but after mixing the Guacamole, the lime was still way too much.
