THE BEST KOREAN CHICKEN I’VE HAD! Extremely big juicy wings ALWAYS fresh and the customer service is on point as well. Try them you will NOT be disappointed.
I ordered 10 pieces of honey garlic Korean fried chicken. I do not believe I can call this Korean fried chicken (KFC). They are more like American chicken wings with Korean inspired sauce. First, the batter crust is not crunchy. A typical KFC should maintain light crunchy outer coat even after a sauce has been covered. Second, meat should be tender and moist. Here, meat was moist but was a little on a chewy side. It wasnt bad but not to a standard level of expectation from KFC. Third, Honey garlic sauce was on a little watery side. It should be a bit thick and sticky but still should be light and not overpowering the taste of chicken. One good thing is that the pickled radish was really good; crunchy, clean refreshing to complement the taste of chicken between bites. In Hampton Roads area, I would recommend Choice restaurant near Trader Joes. A negative on Choice is that they recently been charging $0.50 on a side of pickled radish. it should be free with an order of chicken. Not very Korean way in service; to charge something that is expected to be free.

Hey, Kwings has this amazing Korean fried chicken. I got the half-and-half set with the original and spicy garlic flavors, and they were both bomb. The chicken was super crispy and tasty, and the sauces were on point. The Kimbap was also lit, I couldn't stop eating it even on the way home. I give extra points for the take out packaging (awesome attention to detail).Overall, Kwings is the place to go if you're craving some legit and reasonably priced Korean fried chicken. I'm definitely going back!

A hidden gem for authentic Korean food and culture, and Korean chicken. A combination of a very clean and well organized convenience store and takeout Korean food, the combination of ski masks for sale, along with incense, with a kitchen behind a curtain gives you that invigorating feeling of “Oh I may get held up!” It’s worth it though when you walk out unharmed with some of the best Korean food you’ve had in a long time. Seriously though, friendly staff, and super clean. I’ll be back for the homemade kimchi, bulgogi, and other Korean chicken dishes, but for now I am satisfied with the goodness of the Korean chicken wings and white radish. I’m sure the American food options are just as good, but wow, the Korean food is spot on. The history lesson by the proprietor was perfect.

I ordered take out from here about a week ago and I have to admit, the food was absolutely amazing! It was my first time trying bulgogi and I was not disappointed! Their signature KWings had some of the best sauce I've ever tasted! Highly recommended trying this little gem of a restaurant! Plus the cashier/hostess was very professional, courteous and gorgeous!
