It took 20 minutes to seat us then they just left us and spent 20 more just sitting at the table and didn't even get a drink order. Ended up just leaving with that bad service.

i have called Longhorn's in Newport news at least 7 times in the last month. they just have a r3ecording, aftwer pushing ANY button they never answer the phone...NEVER,...if a reply is posted...they are lying. had to complete form or it wouldnt go thru....info is what i would have ordered

50 min waiting for food is just silly. We had tickets to a play and wouldn’t have gotten there on time if we had continued waiting. We ended up walking out. I looked for someone to tell to cancel the order and no one was at the front and none of the waitstaff was really paying attention. I’m not saying the staff wasn’t working. But not getting food in almost an hour is just bad management. I am now getting Wendy’s on date night.

Tonight we went to this establishment for my little brother's birthday and when I arrived the manager was fussing with my sister. The night manager was very rude and nasty. She needs better training on how to talk to people. Even when I was talking to my sister about what happened she jumped into our conversation and I had to excuse her out of our conversation and that was super unprofessional. Her approach was horrible. Our server was amazing he did a great job.

Feburary 2, 2025 4:30 p.m. We arrived an were put on a waiting list, (no complaints about that), was told approximately 15 minutes. However after waiting approximately 15 minutes I watched a party of 3 come in the door (we were a party of 3) and GET SEATED INSTANTLY! I went and questioned why, was told they called us. NO! Then was told we were accidentally skipped. Got our food. My sons food did not come as ordered, and I only got half of my chicken tenders, the rest came after I was almost done. The staff never even mention that I wasn't getting all my food at once. This WAS our favorite restaurant. Always had good service and food. The waitress yesterday was great. The other staff was a disappointment 😞

Okay sevice, typical atmosphere, but the one issue I have is that the wild west shrimp had no peppers in it at all. You can clearly see that and it was still served to us. Bland breaded shrimp not okay. Other then that the rest of the food was okay. Feel that things where over priced for the quality.

Went there a couple of months ago did not have my food told me I would get an email with a free appetizer and a half a rack of ribs never got it so when I went there today for my birthday to eat, I asked to speak to a manager about it and a manager came said the other manager would be there at 3 o’clock and never came back to talk to me I spent $75 on my food there this time and never got my appetizer or half a rack of ribs ordered a medium steak this time and got a well done steak. Need to hire a cook. They know how to cook a steak not very happy with the situation. I don’t think I will go back anytime soon.

Steak came out over cooked and had to be redone, was not tIhe quality of a real filet mignon, the baked potato was dry and not fully loaded and the music was loud and annoying...bar music is not fitting.

I am a carnivore and LongHorn is my favorite chain for slice-of-grilled-cow when traveling. My standard order is the "Outlaw Ribeye, no seasoning, rare, with bacon as the side." At this location, I was not allowed to get bacon as a side without paying a $1.25/slice additional charge. I declined the bacon, and was only mildly disappointed about that. More disappointing was the fact that my unseasoned steak (I prefer to add salt myself) still tasted like it had the grill seasoning on it. As best I could tell, it was from grill residue; that said, I have eaten many of these steaks from many locations WITHOUT that experience. I do not doubt that the server had put in the order correctly (it didn't affect her tip), I think this was a kitchen issue (and the bacon thing was management)... The Williamsburg location is much better than this one.

Always super packed. Steaks are really good. Sometimes overcooked but if you want medium just say medium rare and they are perfect. Staff is always super friendly even when they are swamped.

Typically extremely long waits for every facet of service. It seems like a coin toss whether you'll get what you ordered or if the kitchen will send out something under or over cooked or something that just plain isn't what you ordered. It costs quite a bit to eat at Longhorn so you'd expect a higher consistency of good service to one's specifications. The actual servers are typically well in tact and professionalism, but something is going wrong, somewhere.
(This last time, the place was unheated and multiple lights in the building were either dim or flickering.)

Make sure to examine your door before eating. I ordered broccoli and when i went to eat it there was a bug in the broccoli.

The food was fantastic and service was great!!! 10/10
