If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Alex W. at LongHorn Steakhouse in Newport News gave me the BEST service I’ve ever had—and I’m 49 years old and dine out regularly so that says a lot. He was incredibly attentive, fast, kind, and somehow managed to anticipate my needs before I even had to ask. It’s rare to come across someone with such natural hospitality and professionalism. Alex made my entire dining experience exceptional and he made my food taste even better....
I dined on Saturday, May 3rd. We arrive and were seated and our server was Sam. She was no attentive to us at all. We were seated and after about 15mins we hadn't received any bread. There was a male server waiting tables near us and he noticed that we were just sitting, and he came over to ask us if we were okay. He then made it a priority to get us bread. After a while Sam came to take our drink and appetizer order and when the appetizer arrived it was cold, the male waiter...
Okay sevice, typical atmosphere, but the one issue I have is that the wild west shrimp had no peppers in it at all. You can clearly see that and it was still served to us. Bland breaded shrimp not okay. Other then that the rest of the food was okay. Feel that things where over priced for the quality.
