Their website, app, and google info all said they were open. Drove 20+ mins in the snow to get here since it showed as one of the only ones open. Arrive and see that this store is so archaic, their only form of letting people know they are closed is a piece of paper on the drive through mic.
I bet so many people got jebaited like that. If you're gonna close, update all your ish with that info and don't have people waste their time, gas and energy just to turn around empty handed.

What you would expect from McDonald's. I have poor eyesight and the new kiosk for ordering are not easy for me to use. The food isn't great but it is consistent, so I know what I'm getting.

This has to be the worst McDonalds in Hampton Roads. You don’t get to be slow, expensive, AND serve cold food. Last time I tried ordering inside we saw a fight between workers that ended with both of them quitting, but not til after I had already paid. Drive thru is slow, 20 mins in line for a cold breakfast sandwich. Hash brown didn’t even come in a sleeve. About the only thing they didn’t screw up is the bottled water, which I only got because it was the only option they had left that wasn’t broken.

Walked through today to use the bathroom it was a mess toilet paper was on the floor. Floor in dining room is wet and slippery and I feel and some kids left about it and show no respect

Waited almost 3omins for $5 meal deal. Just for them to forget the 4pc nugget, and the way I ordered my burger was totally wrong and had employee yell at me and other waiting a curb side that we was special cause they don't do curbside after 10pm even though now where on the app does it state this. Worse experience ever at mcdonalds. They need to just shut this mcdonalds down , such a disgrace and will not go back to mcdonalds as this seems the crap customer experience this company seems to be OK with for its customers!

Went at midnight, fries were cold so we sent them back. She said they were fresh and no possible way they were. They weren't even warm! Argued about it and finally went to go make some fresh ones. Another lady came out to give them to us and gave us a dirty look and didn't say a word. Wasn't asking for attitude, just fresh fries

Upon ordering , everything was smooth. When I reached the window, whoever the tall woman with dreads/braids handed my my kids meals and asked me to pull up. I did pull forward to the end of the driveway. I sat for roughly five minutes and figured I'd just go inside instead to get my food. She brings my food and I confirmed everything and asked for my dulce del leche drink. The employee proceeded to plop an empty cup on the counter and then accused me of already receiving a drink. I offered for her to come check my car as I didn't have it. Even a nearby employee had to tell her to fix her face/attitude. She looked pissed!! My kids didn't get their apples, or the 6 piece nuggets ( the order stated a 4 piece instead) .. I didn't not deserve attitude or her accusation..... If you're having a bad day, take a deep breath, the customers don't deserve your anger.

The McDonalds in Newport News, Virginia 417 Denbigh Blvd 23608 Half-asses everything they do at this location. Management seems to be led by someone incapable. We all understand its fast food, but under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should the food be half done, sloppy, or ingredients not as advertised or flat out wrong. Refusing to give receipts or overall unwilling to take orders and pushing everyone to the kiosk. I am mostly concerned about the half-done food. If nothing can be done I will send a BBB report and hopefully get the ball rolling there.

They have closed the play place at this location “until further notice”. That was the only reason to come to this location, as this is easily the worst location in the area. If you’re going to remove the play place you may as well close this location.

Of the 3 McDonalds locations that I go to (Tabb, Jefferson and Oyster Point, and this location), this one is the best. They have the best customer service and the play place is a huge plus. We bring the kids to run around before and after they eat. What specifically stood out to me this particular visit was Jasmine and Keisha. They were super sweet, very personable, and no matter how many times I had to go back to the counter, they greeted me with a smile each time.. I asked them for their names and made sure to let them know they were awesome, but wanted to make sure my review reflected it as well!
