Mona Korean Restaurant

Although the food is always tasty here, the customer service varies from great to down right nasty. My family and I have frequented this restaurant for years, but more recently, Mona was quite rude to my husband and I, and I refuse to spend my money where the owner thinks it is acceptable to treat her patrons with anything other than respect, as we always treat her.

Horrible customers service. Don’t ever come here. She yelled at us for asking for more Kimchi and the vegetables.

Traveled an hour to try Mona's, and did not disappoint. Great food and service. Gain a loyal customer and definitely worth the drive.

Outstanding Korean Food. Very friendly staff and servings are huge. The Spicy Pork stir fry is my favorite.

A favorite place for korean food. Dropped in on Tues. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

I was raised on Korean food and I can honestly say their food reminds me of my mom’s great home cooking. If you want authentic Korean food that’s not overly sugared and doesn’t have a lot of filler added then this place is highly recommended. Try their Kalbi a marinated short rib bbq, it’s really yummy

I’ve been here twice so far & the owner is like a classic Omma. She’s so friendly & welcoming. Her whole vibe is a main reason I keep returning (other than the food, ofc). Ordered spicy galbi tang both times but will be getting something different on my next visit. Also had kimbap, mandoo, japchae & amazing banchan. I’d say this is the best AUTHENTIC Korean spot in my area.

The outside of the restaurant looks a bit run down, but the interior is very nice and homey. I ordered the dumplings and the bibambap, and everything came out absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding and the food came out very fast. I will be back for more food

OMG. Best food ever. We love love Korean food.. My mother in law is Korean and always leaves us loads of bulgogi to freeze and prepare later. Well we ran out. We used to order from a small place on King St but they closed a few years ago. So sad. Anyhow, Mona's is top notch. We ordered bulgogi, kim bap, and spicy seafood soup. Everything tasted fresh. The bulgogi was tender and full of flavor. Seafood soup was spicy and sooooo delicious! Great portions! We ordered for take out and everything was beautifully packaged, which is great especially since we ordered ALOT of food.

This is an amazing restaurant authentic Korean food served as it would be in Korea. Mona is very attentive and makes sure everything is great! I love this place!

This was some of the best Kimbap I have had in the area. The price wasn’t bad and the lady that served me was sweet.

First time going here with my wife. Absolutely satisfied with the food and service. One of the best korean BBQ I have ever had! Outside of this it looked a tad bit run down. But once you enter inside it is actually really decorative and nicely theme. Definitely will be coming back again! This place will not disappoint you!

The most authentic Korean food I have eaten since I was in Korea.

Never order grub hub through them. Horrible customer service. Messed our order Up twice!!!! Spent over $200 to find out they kept running the wrong card. We were patient from the first mistake but after the second mistake we had enough. Very disappointing! Also, they gave our driver the wrong food and he has to drive back to also find out she ran the wrong card and couldn’t fix the issue.

We went last Saturday and had Han as our waitress. I didn’t know what I wanted and was confused. She ended up bringing me what I wanted and it was amazing. My husband was stationed in Korea and says he likes the food as well beings that it’s extremely authentic! We had the chicken bbq. We went back today 6-29-19 sat ) we had Han once more and she remembered what I liked. She brought the salad with the ginger dressing also. She’s amazing. Then when she came to fill my water she also filled my tea with the pitcher I had on the table. That isn’t a normal thing around here, the waitress/waiter doesn’t go the extra mile. When it came to leaving and packing the food, she also did that and also put it in the bag and tired the bag. It was amazing it means more then nice words. She takes care of her customers extremely well! I love this place and will continue to go. I suggest it to anyone who likes Korean food!! I love this place I always come and it’s amazing
