It was my first time visiting this restaurant. They serve not only sushi rolls, but also other traditional Japanese dishes like Nikujaga, Tempura, Udon and so on. I ordered a few rolls and I was so disappointed. Fish doesnt taste fresh at all and the serving size is really small. I will never go back to this place for sushi rolls. If you want to eat decent sushi rolls, go to Yama Sushi restaurant in Yorktown. Their pricing might be a little bit higher, but food tastes A LOT better.

Atmosphere: I carried my food out both times, however the atmosphere is very laid back. It was nearly empty both times I went. The cashier was really friendly and patient both times. Took less than 15 minutes to get my food each time. Food: I started with a cucumber salad which I Iove. I felt that they could've been a bit more generous with the crab meat, but it was still delicious. I ordered the shaggy dog roll both times. I loved it because it was my two favorite sushi stuffings (shrimp & crab) together. I also had the shrimp tempura roll which was good, but I (personally) could've done without the green onion. It was pretty subtle, but I'm not a big fan of any onion. Rating: I gave a 4/5 due to the inconsistency. My first visit, the food was outstanding but the second was just ok. I'd still try it again! It has a better variety than its competitors.

Seriously one of the best sushi restaurants in Virginia. They're always friendly and kind. I am from Hawaii, and this is the only place that makes sushi like home. They also make the best gyoza ever. I honestly have to come here at least once a week to eat their food. They have a wide variety on their menu and prices are pretty reasonable. Ambiance is perfect with the dim lighting and service is always on point. If you want to eat REAL sushi than you really need to check them out and try their gyoza!!!! You won't be disappointed.

I love this place! It was so tranquil and the vibe was delightful. Waitress was nice and prompt. Sushi was amazing! Would highly recommend the dynamite and volcano sushi rolls! We will definitely be back :)

Amazing food!! Their seaweed salad is the best I've ever had! Bf had a selection of sushi rolls which all tasted fresh and delicious, and I had the beef sukiyaki - a sweet and savory, rich broth filled with beef, tofu, fish cakes, spinach, corn, mushrooms and glass noodles. Absolutely delicious and filling. Will definitely go again and highly recommended!

My favorite Japanese restaurant. I can't eat seafood so I can't really say anything about the sushi other than that it's well received by people I've brought. The restaurant is small but cozy and quiet if you're looking for a more intimate dinner. My favorite dish is the Katsu Don, I get it every time and it's consistently delicious
