I had several missing and wrong items. The food was not satisfying either.

It was very obvious that on this day march 15 2025 @4pm the manager was upset about something. He treated myself and other customers rudely! I was a first time customer at this location and need assistance with my order and he asked in a mean tone "dang haven't you ever been to Popeys before " I was hoping that he had a suggested sale or something but he just left me and other customers to figure it out. His whole demeanor was very unprofessional

I drove here from Virginia Beach to do an errand and stopped to get a bite to eat. I ordered my food via the Popeye’s app, completed my errand, and went in to get my food. When I first walked in, I was very impressed about how clean the restaurant was and the peaceful atmosphere on a Friday afternoon. I went to the counter to get my food and I was greeted the same way as if I was ordering in person. The young lady at the counter greeted me, gave me my food, gave me my cup and showed me where the drink fountain was. Because of the clean restaurant and pleasant reception, I stayed and ate my food. My food was hot, fresh, and the biscuits were soft and delightful. Everything was so good, I ordered a little more to go. Thank you so much for your professionalism, cleanliness, and peaceful establishment. The picture shows the time I ordered my food via the app. Have an awesome day. Keep up the great work.

I requested to talk to a manager and was disconnected by the app numerous times. The Popeyes on Warwick boulevard in Newport News did not send all items from my order in February 24th. I would like to speak to a person not a chatbot that will disconnect.

Personally I dislike Popeyes and try to avoid eating it because every time I’ve had it in the past no matter the location, I could travel out of state and it’s always something wrong!

HOWEVER, This location..so far never gets the order wrong. I can’t speak for their customer service in person because I prefer delivery services (Uber Eats) but I will say, If you request sauces with your order (5 piece tender combo) you ACTUALLY get them, including utensils. I can only speak for myself but personally I like that this location takes their time to put things like that in the bag. The food has always been fresh upon as well.

Wrong order, rude employees and just a horrendous customer experience all four times I have been here. If there is a manager here? Then they need to be fired immediately. Good luck to this place. Never going back.

This Popeyes location is the worst I’ve ever been to. The staff is incredibly rude ,ghetto, and unprofessional. the manager was even worse. As a manager, you should set a good example for your employees, but that’s not even it my order was wrong when I got it.

Horrible, horrible food and the service would have been better if the other cashier didn’t get so rude with me and but into the conversation between myself & the woman helping with mobile pickup.
I ordered the 14 tender meal and got literal pieces of chicken. Not a full tender, not even half a tender. Some of it was so hard you couldn’t even eat it and some was just breading that had fallen off.
I ordered the apple cranberry lemonade & paid for it on the app, just for the woman to rudely interrupt and tell me “it’s not at THIS location. It’s only at SELECT locations” in a very condescending tone.
If it’s only at select locations and not this one, I should not be able to order it when I chose THIS Popeyes as my pickup location. But okay.
The food was cold. The Mac and cheese was all clumpy and looked almost like curdled milk. It tasted horrible. I didn’t even eat it nor did my children. Mashed potatoes were okay but not mixed properly and dry as heck.
Even the Dr Pepper was bad because there was no carbonation in the machine.
The best thing about my order was the prepackaged sauces I asked for. The atmosphere was uncomfortable. Made you feel unwelcome. And it was dirty as heck.

I will say, the woman who helped me was kind. She even gave me a side of gravy because it isn’t an option on the app. I did appreciate her. She was kind. She is the reason yall got 4 stars on service.

But I wasted $45 on a meal my family can’t even eat. So that is really crappy. We definitely will be going to another location from now on. I’ll drive the extra distance for better (safer) food.

They are so rude. Treat people like dirt. Don’t run like an actual restaurant . Get half the order wrong and have an
attitude if you go back up to say you were missing something.

The fried chicken is NOT the original spicy that a New Orleans native is accustomed to eating at most Popeyes restaurants.
Employees do NOT want to be here (my visual opinion).
If you want fast food, go to another location or Bojangles.
No Dirty Rice is offered at this location.

I ordered my food 20 mins before walking in then had to wait another 20 mins before an employee greeted me. On top of that my meal wasn't ready and the employees just stood around.....horrible service

I made the mistake of thinking their "wings" would be good....soon as I opened the container, I had instant regret....I honestly wouldn't even give it to my dog. Was just a pile of overcooked grossness drenched in a sauce as a poor attempt to cover it up.....and don't get me started on how much it costs - > criminal
