The Skrimp Shack was such a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a decent fast food place in the area and found this place tucked into a strip mall. The service was fast, the place was clean and the food was delicious! We had the shrimp baskets which had a large amount of shrimp and fries for the cost. Although the food was fried, it was not greasy and had a delicious taste. We certainly will go there again when we are in the Newport News area.

Not only did I receive 3 Shrimp in the 4-piece shrimp add-on, but the blue catfish (which costs extra) wasn't fully cooked. Definitely only go if you're going to get it in person, because they will screw you in togo orders

I ordered the Shrimp with a side of coleslaw slaw. The Breading on the shrimp was okay, some pieces weren't fully coated, but the cole slaw was good.

I was really disappointed with my order from Shrimp Shack. The breading was falling off the shrimp, and the food tasted like it didn’t have any seasoning at all. For the price, I expected much better quality and flavor. Definitely not worth it.

A little HOT inside. I was told about this place by coworkers, frankly I was dubious but dag gone it, they were right, this place is wallet friendly, and the portions feed army's. Got the chicken sandwich, bread was fresh, tomato and lettuce fresh, three HUGE pieces of chicken, JUICY, not over cooked. Other dish was the flounder basket with fries. Besides the food being EXCELLENT, your order is COOKED WHEN PRDERED. Not sitting under lamps waiting for you. NO MORE McDonalds, Wendy's, Arby's for me. This food is fresh, HOT, and tasty.
