Honestly, one of the best restaurants to dine in the Northern Newport News area. The service here is extremely welcoming and patient. The food is savory and filling, and the atmosphere makes you feel comfortable. Ask for Savannah when you come , she will make sure you are always tended too and that any errors(if any) get corrected! Always a pleasure being around genuine kind-hearted people.

Met up with my God brother and this was a place to eat that he recommended. Our server was super helpful, extremely nice, and fun. The atmosphere was quiet because it was early but nice, and the food was delicious! We ordered the chicken wings as an appetizer and was able to try several different sauces. We all had the ribs with coleslaw as one of our sides. I had the fried corn and my daughter had the beans. We left full and quite satisfied. I will definitely visit Smokey Bones again the next time I'm in Virginia.
