While the service was fantastic, every dish was disappointing...including most of the desserts. Warm dishes were served cold, they didn't match the menu description.
The restaurant is in a great area, plenty of parking, and the design and ambience was excellent. The waiter was very good and provided good advice on the menu and was attentive without being over-bearing throughout the dinner.
The food was good, but nothing extraordinary during our visit. The bread and butter appetizer was okay, but not great. The bread seemed as if it had been sitting out all day or under a heat lamp because it was very dry and a bit chewy. The selections of butter were good, except for the salted butter one which was a bit overly salted. The appetizer meatball was a good size and flavor and came with mashed potatoes. The steaks were good, but lacked any depth of flavor. The overall tenderness of the steaks was excellent. I also got scallops with my steak, which were good but hardly worth the $16 for four scallops that were the size of a quarter. We each got a drink - old fashioned and a martini - which were both good.
We were happy to try the restaurant, but given the experience and high prices, we would be hesitant to try them again.

Don't bother wasting your time here. Staff was inattentive, food over priced, and didn't honor what thier website stated for pricing.

The only good thing we had on the menu was their bread basket. The onion soup is very strange. Super onion-y and the add-ons to the soup did not blend well. Wedge Salad dressing was basically yogurt. Appreciate the attempt at homemade dressing but it was not good. Steak was cooked well, just severely lacked flavor. Wife got a burger and that was most disappointing. She asked for medium. Burger was raw, very raw. Waitress said that’s their medium….doesnt make any sense. Had high hopes for this place but man they have some work to do.

This was my first time and I would definitely go back for the Alligator Bites! They were absolutely the best that I have ever had! The Pomegranate Martini was beyond words but only one Lady should be allowed to make it. They should provide much clearer details about their one hour Happy Hour from 2200-2300. The manager was very friendly and accommodating.

Last night was my second time visiting the restaurant. I wasn’t impressed with the food the first time I visited, but I attended a birthday celebration this go round. All I can say is that my food tased like bland hospital food. I really feel like I wasted my money. I definitely will not be back.

Tonight, we went to Steak & Tonic for date night, and it had its ups and downs. The lobster bisque was on point, and the bread pudding was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, the main courses were way over salted, which took away from the meat itself. I feel like wagyu should speak for itself and be lightly seasoned instead of hidden under layers of salt. I am on the fence if I'd go back for the cost if every bite isn't exceptional. I will give credit to the staff, which far beyond exceeded expectations with great customer service and knowledge of the product.

Parking: The short ribs with mashed potatoes were absolutely amazing!!! But I got a Cesar salad w/pork belly added, and only one piece tastes like pork belly. My old fashion was very good and creative. Overall, I love the Speak Easy and will definitely go again.

The ambiance in the restaurant is beautiful. The alligator bites were delicious. The Surf n Turf pasta was good, but the salt overpowered the meal. The wine selection is nice. There are a lot of different options. Overall, it was a good first experience, and it's a good spot for date night. However, you can't bring birthday balloons or cake in the building. They don't allow that.

This was our third time here (only ate here twice). The food is salty but once the food was served the waiter never came back to check on us. Once we finally got the waiter back to our table he state that the over salting is a common complaint here.
I ate much of my steak but never got a steak knife. The sides were over salted just like my wife’s meal. The waiter did bring a new salt free risotto after we ate what we could of the over salted food. It was much better. Recommend you ask for all your food to be lightly salted or salt free.

Soo, I went here a few months ago. Btw LOVE LOVE FIN&Tonic.. but came here a few months ago, my friend & I were seated in the speakeasy. First, the waiter did not seem too thrill to serve us, my friend said that he felt like we were an inconvenience to her. But that’s cool.. it didn’t bother us. We ordered food, I ordered the fried fish dish(forgot what dish it was) he ordered the bbq chicken dish. When we left on the way to the movies my stomach started hurting, I asked him to pull over & I was sick. The rest of the night I was sick. He didn’t get sick until after he got home. Idk what it was but the food wasn’t that great either. Fish tasted low quality or like it was a little old. Idk. I won’t be eating here again or recommending anyone. But FIN&Tonic is much better(yes I know it’s owned by the same person).

Food was so salty I could not palate. My daughters food was also overwhelmingly seasoned. The waitress did get it remade and it still wasn't the best. The couple behind us, shared their food was salty but " I didn't want to complain ". Great atmosphere, great staff, but the food was horrible for the price point. We left there and went to the market for a sub.
Bartender didn’t know much about the menu or the wine! We had to send are steak back several times so it could be cooked properly. The kicker was when the manager came out and blamed the improperly cooked steak on us and we still paid over $100 for the bill. We won’t be back.

In my opinion staff was rude. Ask a question every wait staff has to come tell you no, We can’t substitute no if we change this we will also change the vegetable. Please note all items are prepared separatly This is from the chef according to the wait staff. All menus are outdated. You order something and the response is this is a old menu. In addition, not only is the staff rude the Manager is rude also. There is no customer service at all. At such a high end restaurant you expect better service. Not here. So go here pay 350 for a steak and get treated like you ate at a fast food restaurant. To be honest fast food provides better customer service. No class, no customers service. This was too far to drive for poor service and 8 people in the restauran. None of the food serviced was Hot. 🤬
I’m not totally sure what the culture is at this restaurant typically. But if I’m going to spend $200 to reserve a table in a “private” Area and $50 plus on a plate, the server needs to come to me and check on me. Ask me what I like to drink and if I’m ready to order.
My husband and I had to waive our server down several times the first time obviously to order our drinks and then again to order our food. He literally just kept walking past us. It was crazy and then to have to pay extra for that “private” more intimate experience when it’s just another room within the restaurant, other people in it and the lights are dim. I don’t know if we missed something or if we didn’t get the full experience, but I was underwhelmed to say the least.
As for my food, my husband got a beast burger. I guess it was OK. Nothing really spectacular about it. He basically said it was kind of bland. I ordered the surf and turf pasta. The steak was cooked very well in the pasta perfectly medium steak but the pasta itself has so much going on the raw string beans and the pasta really threw off the texture. It was just a lot going on. Overall, we weren’t very impressed and my husband went to the movie theater next-door to get nachos because he was still hungry so..
Overall super pricey for a less than satisfactory experience.
