Great Hoagie shop!
As a Menchville and CNU alum, I have enjoyed subway station for many years. I can’t recommend them more! Way better than Wawa or subway AND it’s cheaper!

A Newport News institution, no doubt about it. Solid place every time I go. Good food, good prices, and the sweet tea is superb.

For the first time ever, I was disappointed with this place. I got a Club Sub. I wasn't asked if I wanted it cold or hot. I assumed it would be cold being it was a Club - I'm not a fan of hot soggy lettuce or tomato. We got our order to go. When we got home & opened our subs.. they were super skinny, & mine was burned, black on both ends. My husband got the Steak & Cheese - there was hardly any meat. I'm sad mostly because I grew up in Upstate NY with the best Sub Shop - this Sub Station was the most comparable I had found around here.
