My absolute favorite sushi place around! I lived in japan for 6 years and this feels exactly like some of the tiny little sushi places you’d happen across in Tokyo. You can sit at the bar and watch as he hand rolls your sushi. It’s a small place but the service is excellent and food is delicious!

Best sushi place in Newport News. Love eating here. Does take some time to get your food but only because it’s more of a smaller place. If you’re willing to wait a bit, the sushi is very much worth it. Every worker is very nice, seems like a family business. I got the SP rainbow roll, tuna/salmon roll, SP dragon roll, and volcano roll.

What a hidden gem! My coworker found this eatery by doing a sushi search. What a great find! The sushi is fresh, with great flavor! It reasonably priced. If you have never tried Sushi Yoma, you need to visit here.

I've been here a few times. It's a small sushi restaurant that is a hidden gem. Their rolls aren't loaded with a lot of filler rice so you're able to taste more of the roll. They actually serve Toro sushi! Service gets a little slow when it gets full, but the wait is worth it when your order gets to you!
This place is probably the best sushi place that I ever have in the state. The sushi and sashimi look very well made and delicate. The taste is fresh and delicious. Every bite its just feel like they put their heart in it, very thoughtful and beautiful. I mean look at that thick salmon .They deserved 5 stars in every way! I would recommend this place
