My daughter never considered CNU as it was simply too far a drive from home (2 hours further than her current school). That was the only reason...more than 6 1/2 hours from where we are in Jersey was just too far. We actually came down to campus last spring for her spring track conference championships. Although there is a stigma about living in Newport News to many Hampton Roads young people, this perception is all wrong. CNU is a gorgeous campus full of activity, an amazing library, dorms, and facilities. The Ferguson Center touts concerts and comedians. There are a wide variety of clubs and activities on campus.
