Best time ever..server was awesome.

It was a fun experience but you're paying a lot to cook some of your own meal (the entrees) on a hot plate on your table.

The spinach and artichoke cheese fondue was delicious but some might think too garlicky. Also they're were a few pieces of small, inedible and fibrous artichoke pieces that was not pleasant. My daughter really enjoyed the tender steak and ahi tuna. Lots of dipping sauces served with the entree too.

They have a couple of dinner deals that are a great value (for example, a full course meal for 2 for $10) if you're going to eat each course (cheese fondue, salad, entree, and chocolate fondue). They had several varieties to choose from for each course. We chose from the ala carte menu since we only wanted specific things.
(You can also create your entree from the available choices)

We went during the week so there was no wait but I'm sure they are very busy on the weekends so you might want to make a reservation for those nights.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. I'm glad we got to try their unique experience but will most likely save future visits for special occasions.

Oh, they also offer chocolate dipped strawberries but you need to request them 24 hours in advance.

Great place for a date or family time! We spent our first anniversary there and shared with our parents. Such a great place to enjoy!

We've been to this location 4 times so far and will continue to come back. Lateshia(sp?) is the most wonderful server, she is so sweet and personable and she really goes above and beyond to make your experience special.

If you aren't blessed with my favorite server, just know that all of the servers and hosts are kind and accommodating. You'll be in good hands no matter what! The ambience is chill and can be romantic if you have a special date planned. I love that you can book reservations easily online and request special extras.

Is it a bit pricey? Sure. But the service is fantastic and the food is consistently good. If you like to try new things, there are tons of combinations of broths, cheeses, and dippables to keep you on your toes.

Last night my Fiancé and I came to celebrate our engagement and The Melting Pot did not disappoint. The Hostess and server were great to us! This was our first time here and we were very excited to try this experience. The curry dipping sauce with the steak was my favorite and of course the chocolate fondue at the end! Will be coming back soon.

Eh. It's sub par. Wayyy overpriced. Was expecting much more in quality and quantity, also atmosphere, for the ridiculous price.

Excellent restaurant with amazing service. My wife and I make this an annual (or so) trip to enjoy a slow paced dinner where we can really connect.

Had a reservation but due to an accident on the highway my reservation was given away while being 5 minutes away. I tried to call to give a heads up but was told if I was not there by a certain time I would have to reschedule. My reserved table was taken.

I have celebrated many things at the Melting Pot in VA Beach. Anniversaries: birthdays, bachelorette outings, baby showers 🚿 I recently visited the one in NN. Just as terrific, our waiter was so nice. I bought gift cards in support of St. Jude's. Can't wait to plan a celebration with my crew.

Latisha was our server and oh my god she did an amazing job. Our service was fantastic and her attitude and vibes were fabulous. She's a 10/10, and I highly recommend requesting her.

Despite the excellent service, my dining partner and I simply did not enjoy the experience of cooking our food in boiling soup enough to repeat it. On top of that, midway though the meal my partner experience served gastric distress. We're can't save for certain that it was caused by the food ( everything is brought to the table raw and the preparation /cooking instructions were pretty scant) but we feel no need to repeat a visit .
It's alto worth mentioning that the sound levels are awful.. the background noise from the music system is atrocious and made sailing with each other very difficult
