First time visiting with friends and the best thing about it was the band and the atmosphere. It was quaint and I appreciate that type of intimate environment. The waitress was a bit full of herself and acted as if "she" was owed something...not very pleasant at all. The scallops were good but waaayyy too salty and I will totally PASS on those greens next time. Overall, I enjoyed myself there with my friends and would go back again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hostess was very nice. Our waitress was attentive. The food was phenomenal! I had THE best crab cake I've ever eaten there and the band was awesome!! Can't wait to go back.

I went with some friends, Friday night.. wow Great Live Jazz - the band Elements was there and they didn’t disappointed. We have catfish- broiled and fried, Mac and cheese, and fried trout with crabmeat. It was delicious and I spoke with the host- Michelle about the history. I will be back.. great spot on Friday night for Live Jazz and great food. The Jazz band Element was phenomenal

Parking: Parking was lighted well

I loved EVERYTHING about this place! We got there a little after 6 while the band was setting up. Initially I didn't care for our table as it was right by the door however they were very accommodating and allowed us to change seats which made me happy. We got the hot crab dip appetizer which was delicious. For my entree I got the broiled crab cakes with collards and Mac and cheese and when I tell you I cleaned my plate! Even the cornbread was a treat. Our server Pam was amazing. The band Different Perspectives was the best part of the night. Every single member of that band is immensely talented. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire experience from beginning to end and will definitely be back!

Visited this place as a "Girl's Night". I loved the location. It's hidden in a quaint spot near the water. Customer service was GREAT! It's very small and not s lot of parking. I understand why reservations are needed, but definitely worth it. The food is good! My only complaint is the music is so loud, there is no conversation to be had unless you're yelling. Of course, that's why most people go to listen to jazz versus talk. It's an older crowd type vibe so I'll be bringing my mom back. I'm sure she'll love it.

Had bake chicken, Mac & Cheese, green beans, everything was AWESOME??

Although the music can be really good most nights, it can’t quite make up for the poor service, low quality drinks and outdated decor. This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. Wish the owner had the vision to turn it into the hotspot it really could be. The night of my last visit there they even ran out of plates. Totally unacceptable. Do better.

I've been to alot of places that was black own businesses and i must say that the Train Station is one of those hidden gems that you've got to try if you love Real Home Cooking at its finest. Awesome place to dine

First off... they tell you ahead of time to expect slow service (due to both how busy they are and staffing). A pretty accurate assessment. However, the chill vibes a great band make the wait enjoyable. So... kind of glad the service was slow. The food was great. I have never been impressed with crabcakes... like... ever. I mean, never at all. Till I went to dinner at The Train Station. Couple it with the garlic buttered mashed potatoes. Wife ordered the Prime Rib, which was seasoned perfectly. The band was phenomenal. While they were all great, the saxophone player and bassist were the stars. The patio is right on the water front, so add in a spectacular view (at sunset, no less) and it was a great evening.

Made a reservation for one for 6/24/22 @ 7pm. Arrived at 6:55pm. There was no one at the door and those behind the bar didn't say anything so I asked should I just walkthru to the patio. They said no and wait to be seated. I waited about 10 minutes and a line started to form behind me. Finally an older woman (I'm 65) comes out and says to wait minute and leaves again. A barmaid who later sang with the band came out of the ladies room at that time and shook her head as she watched this lady try tofigure out what to do. She finally hands each one of us a menu, silverware but she walks back and forth to the bar for each item. Then she asks each if we want a drink menu. Then walks back and forth for each drink menu.It is now about 7:20pm. She walks myself and another couple out to the patio. Now she cannot locate our names on the list . She leaves us standing by the ramp and seats others. I finally notice my name on a little table stuck in the corner by the door. So the couple finds their table and too. The jazz band started playing and sounded good. The food smelled good. The view amazing. The customer service was a terrible experience. So I sat and waited. and waited. There are servers and greeters walking back and forth totally ignoring me. At about 7:45p I said to the folks at the next table that I must be invisible. So they call their server over for me and her response is that it was not her table. I stood up and gathered my things and begin to leave. When I walk back thru the restaurant to the parking lot there is the greeter and two other staff standing there. I told them I was leaving because no service after an hour. At that time the server who didn't have my table ran out and asked if I was Ms. Morrison. I said yes and she said Pat is your server. That was so helpful so I kept walking. I drove to a seafood restaurant and then got a phone call from Robin Ratley who apologized. Wow. No offer to make things right for wasting my time. I was looking for a safe place to go since I was flying solo and live close by. I was looking forward to this experience. Too bad it turned out to be a bad one. I hope for your sake you have a better one.
