Tran’s have the best seafood. I live in Sacramento and I’ll drive to Vallejo to buy fresh catfish from Tran’s.

2 dozen male crabs were $50 something. They were so so lightweight. Asked for heavy seasoning and it was barely any seasoning. My daughter drove from Williamsburg to Newport News to order the 2 dozen. Then to Hampton to my home. We were so upset!!!! We ended up ordering a dozen female crabs from Kings Seafood in Hampton and their crabs were so much heavier, bigger and wayyyyyy better than Trans. Do better Trans Seafood!!!!

I have been going here for the last 3 months. Love the way they fry their fish. My toddler loves it too. Says more fish when she is done with the portion I give her. They have rather large pieces of fish. Can't go wrong with Croaker, whiting, trout or flounder! Usually, prepare the fish quickly. Call in for faster service!

The food has no seasoning and had been fried in old grease. I got talapia and shrimp and it was obvious they were both farm raised. Hush puppies and coating looked and tasted burnt due to being cooked in old grease. The French fries were cheap, stale, hard, dry and freezer burned. Very disappointed, their food use to be delicious and fresh. Won't be going their again and will advise others not to go there either. It was very disappointing as well as a waste of time and money.

Need to update hours of operations , drove all the way here for the store to be closed on the day it says open Tuesday 09/03/24 at 5:41 pm and hours say open until 7pm . Whole experience blown , make you don't want to come back !!! Then i asked the man about the hours and he just waved and kept walking .

I love this place nice people ❤️ I used to live in Virginia and I used to go all the and get fish dinner and crabs now I live in Boston Massachusetts and I go when ever I am back down one time I was going to Florida and they cooked me a bushel of crabs and the lady fix them so they wouldn't go bad on the trip down

It's been 6 or 7 years since I ate from Trans seafood and it was nasty fries old breading on fish obviously hadn't been sifted in a while don't have to worry about me going back but I hoped it was better by now. It wasnt
