Zen is an oasis for eclectic artists and outrageous performers. It's where you go to step out of the insanity of the outside world to enjoy the loving embrace of inclusive joy and companionship. The bar staff is kind and attentive. The food is tasty as hell. I really could never say enough great things about Zen. Whether you're a performer or a patron, 37th and Zen is a welcoming haven.

I come to 37th and Zen for Goth Night pretty consistently and I've never had a bad time. The food is great and the bartenders are really cool - they knew my order maybe a month into my going consistently. If you're queer you will feel like you're among your people here, it's wonderful. Such a good vibe.

Great place and community. They recently updated their menu and there is even more great choices than before. There is also something going on almost every night of the week.
Mon is game night Tues sometimes game night or other things Wed Karaoke Thurs pop up shows or Karaoke Fri Goth Night Sat Drag Shows/Burlesque/Livr Music or other special events Sun Early Afternoon Drag Bruch and Karaoke at night.
The only way to the bar is stairs. I went in my wheelchair and couldn't access this key part of the business. At least this means they get no money from me.
Also there don't appear to be any disabled parking spots, a fact I will be reporting.
