Food was good. We enjoyed our meals.
Food and drinks were GREAT! Their version of the oysters Rockefeller was AMAZING! The service wasn't as great as I had expected. Our server seemed distracted...not engaging at all. We were a group of 4, which included 2 who had never visited. Both said they would return because of how good the food was.
Ordered a whole shrimp po boy and was given a half after calling and placing a pickup order. Colonial crab dip is just full of excess stuff and barely any crab. A couple of years ago they were way better but have fallen off big time. Super overpriced for what you actually get, I'd recommend trying a different seafood place, so don't waste your money here like I did.
Absolutely worst service I’ve ever experienced! 20 mins just to get the server to take our drink order. Manager didn’t care to help the situation, 2 tables next to me were disgusted with the service as well(and were very vocal about it). Wouldn’t recommend anyone going here.
Loved everything about this place.
BEST Oyster Romano I've ever had !!!! Ate a few things off husbands platter.... Everything single thing was amazing. Scallops were delicious 😋
Very good seafood, not outrageously priced! Very good service. Also, one of the few local seafood restaurants that are open on Monday.
Great service, food was well prepared and had flavor!
This is THE SPOT. Service was great, Heather was our servfood was fantastic and came out quick! My favorites was the fried oysters and crab dip. Bobby (8 yrs old) said it was so good it was affecting his body and grabbed his chest and closed his eyes!!!! Crab cake was all crab, delicious. Oysters were HUGE. I shoulda took some pictures but we ate it so fast!!! Cocktail was so good! I had the St Rose of Shucks. It was 9 of us and we all are leaning over bout to pass out. Dessert was the bread pudding made with Krispy Kreme donuts. Excellent 10 out of 10
A hidden treasure. Quiet and cozy atmosphere, felt like a local spot. Food was excellent and service was great.

Every since OTH closed this has been my go to place for Seafood when I’m in the area. Everything that I have ordered there has been good to excellent. The only criticism I have is they seem to be more accommodating to couples and groups of diners as opposed to single diners. When you arrive alone they steer you either to the bar or to a single high top table near the entrance to the bathrooms. Understood some people like sitting at the bar but let the customer tell you that’s where they want to sit not tell them that’s the only space available when there are obviously other open tables.
In my travels there have been a few other restaurants who seem to steer single diners to undesirable tables. I’m thinking it’s because the waitresses avoid single diners because they will not get as large of a tip. Big mistake because I tip very well and if I get good service I have tipped significantly more than the standard 25%.
Let’s give Aw Shucks the benefit of the doubt however because the place is rather small and at times it gets crowded so I assume at those times they seat people wherever they can.
Very good fried fish.
Everything was great!
Food is excellent. I had the surf and turf and it was cooked perfect.
I was with a party of 10. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was comfortable and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this AW!!
