Best soup I've ever had. I ordered the beef ramen and a starter of lunpia. They were playing narutoon the TV. Had a lot of red light and felt a little like a dystopian Asian bar you'd find in a video game. Had some kpop and other songs on. I did feel it was a little on the longer side for bringing the food out but it was worth the wait. My wife got the love letter drink and thought it was delicious.

Cool spot to get some good Ramen. Came on a Friday, the restaurant wasn’t packed but most of the tables were filled. We waited about 25 minutes for the food to come out but once it arrived the flavor and perfect temperature made it worth it.
Got the BBQ Pork Belly to start, then the Triple Garlic Katsu Ramen and the Kimchi Ramen for our meal. The flavors were exceptional, very very good and filling. We had to get to go containers as we got full FAST.
Only con was the soda was flat, syrup water flat, but the server told us the machine needed to be fixed after bringing it up to him so we will give them a pass for that as they brought out water before we even put in a drink order.
All in all, we will be back - arigato, Alkaline!

I had heard so many good things about Alkaline. My experience: Vibe was nice Server was good (he was patient because our table was a bit slow deciding) Wing appetizer was tasty Beef Ramen bowl was very bland and the kitchen forgot to include the beef when served Perhaps an off night

Great ramen! Only disappointment is sometimes they run out of add ins, specifically greens. Bok Choy or Chinese broccoli (even better) kicks the ramen to a new level.

There are a lot of Pho and Ramen joints around. Alkaline is different. Namely the meat in the soups are prepared with a care and process quickly noticeable as next level good. The portions of meat were surprisingly better than average. Also, the texture of the chicken and beef could not have been better and was coupled with a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg. An orchestra of ingredients were carefully prepared and assembled in a deep broth worthy of commentary. I knew Alkaline was going to be good, but I was surprised at how good. Vibe and feel was Norfolk cool.
The food was really good. The only thing my husband and I didn't like was the unsweetened green tea in a can.
