The food was nice and hot and very enjoyable. Our waiter was nice, but mixed the order up. . Also one of the cooks forgot one of my children's meals. They corrected it and was apologetic but that is why I gave a 3. One kid had to wait for food while everyone was eating.

Went for lunch. Got the double bacon burger and it was awesome! Bacon sauce with bacon in the burger and 3 strips of bacon...I mean...its bacon!! Bacon makes everything better. And the pretzels for an appetizer. Hot and fresh and crunchy.

So I took myself for lunch and ordered chicken Mac n cheese (with penne pasta) It looked good on the menu and That's where I should have left it. It was so bland and watery. The cheese sauce (or lack there of) was at the bottom of the bowl with the undrained pasta water. The bread stick that came with it was nasty and doughy. Just all around yuck of a meal. Good thing I had my mozzarella sticks from my appetizer to feel me up a bit. Also I ordered the long island ice tea-- it's huge and was ok until I found something black floating around in it. All in all I've had better dishes from Applebee's but unfortunately the Mac n cheese dish isn't one of them.

Visit this Applebees, sit down and waited no one came for our order or even drinks over 5 minutes. Told the seater we had been waiting. We waited and then decided to leave and go to Ruby Tuesdays. Poor service...would have expected if they were short handed someone could have at least told us

I've visited Apple B's in Hampton Va but today was my 1st time visiting the one in Norfolk and I was indeed satisfied I ordered the Cagen Blackened Salmon with garlic mashed potatoes n broccoli

For a kids meal, you get an entree and a side. An additional side is $.99!!!! The manager charged me $2.49 for a basket of fries. I didn’t order a basket of fries. My daughter ordered a cheese pizza with fries and mozzarella sticks; therefore, the mozzarella sticks are suppose to come up as $.99, but instead he still charged me $2.49. Had to wait to get water for myself and my daughter. Just horrible! I won’t be coming back to this location at all.
