The bartender was really great at ignoring customers, so glad businesses can hire the mentally inept even if they are amazingly unsuited to the job at which they are hired to

You’re going to add an automatic 18% tip for legit the worst service and crappy food ever and not mention it to your customers? Do better. Your food quality in regard to burgers and sandwiches are like McDonald’s quality….horrible.

This was my first time eating at Baxter's. My girlfriend second time. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with waffle fries. The chicken sandwich was good but the waffle fries were over cooked and hard. My friend got flounder fish and waffle fries. Both were over cooked. The waitress was OK. We gave her a tip . We didn't realize we got charged 18% gratuity and she didn't inform us about it either. It was two people not six people and gratuity shouldn't have been added to our bill. I will not be visiting Baxter's again.

My friend and I ate there today. The food was fried too hard and it was just was not good. We were not aware that they charge an 18% gratuity for just two people. When the waitress told us about the bill she just told us the amount of each bill and took our card to input in the machine. Had we known gratuity was already added we would have left another tip. The waitress provided good customer service but it wasn't to where she should have gotten a double top. I don't mind leaving a tip but I am tired of being over charged for bad tasting food and mediocre service! I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

I sat at the bar and was being “served” by the bartender. The entire staff was playing a game at the bar and barely providing any service to any customers. The food came out and was “ok”. When I paid the bill the I noticed the bartender had added an 18% gratuity to the bill. What the heck? I guess that’s what you do when your service is bad and your food is average…tip yourself.

Flat beer, slow and inattentive service, dirty rundown bathroom, quality of food would have been ok at half the price. I expected a lot more for the price.

I dislike baxters it's just a boring atmosphere.
Dietary restrictions: None
Parking: Baxters is horrible
Kid-friendliness: Not sure
Wheelchair accessibility: Nothing
10/10 don’t recommend! The waiter was horrible and obviously he doesn’t need to act like a worthy server when 18% is automatically added. He stopped at the table 0 times without being summoned. Ran out of drink never attempted to refill it. Hair in my food. They did take the dish off the tab. But prices, service and overall do not recommend and will not be going back to this establishment.

Been to baxters for 10+ years, frequent flyer before admirals games.
Food is good, specialty drinks are sugary, and club hours security for dudes is invasive. Got more action from the shawty at the door than I’m used to frisking me down, he jingled my jangle but was happy to get in for a post-game beverage.

I ordered my wings fried hard and did not get them fried hard. I don't feel the waitress paid as much attention to us as she should once her friends arrived.

Won't return do to the husselers trying to charge us $20 pp to get in the door. We know they were husseling because we refused and they let 4 of us us in for free. My other 2 friends paid $10 pp.
Felt very unsafe. When we left they were patting guys down. Very shady situation.

Baxter Sports Pub is an ideal spot if you’re heading to a hockey game or event near the stadium. Its location is hard to beat, just a short walk from the action. Parking is convenient, with a garage nearby costing around $10 a night, though you might luck out with street parking if you’re patient.
The service was accommodating, making the experience pleasant overall. As for the food, it’s what you’d expect from a pub—classic, straightforward. Nothing particularly stood out, but it hits the spot if you’re craving the usual pub staples. A fun feature is the large beer containers they offer for tables, making it easy to share drinks with your group. Prices are reasonable, which is a plus if you’re looking for an affordable outing.
One note about the atmosphere: they kept the doors open, which added a cool breeze to the space. While it wasn’t uncomfortable, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to cooler air.

The lounge has a nice vibe. However, service was extremely slow, drinks were watered down and the bathrooms were not fully stocked with paper towels/toilet paper.

I recently dined at Baxter’s and was extremely disappointed. The service was incredibly slow, and we waited far longer than expected for both our orders and refills. To make matters worse, I saw a mouse near the women’s restroom, which was alarming and completely off-putting for any dining experience. When I mentioned this to the staff, we weren’t offered any pricing adjustments, nor did we receive an apology or acknowledgment of the issue. Overall, the lack of professionalism and cleanliness was shocking, and I would not recommend Baxter’s to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.
