Had a lot of issues ordering on their website before it finally went through. We ordered a mix of 12 soy garlic wings+drumsticks, which were pretty big pieces. They were good but their pickled radish was bland and not as good as they were before.

There must have been an ownership change, it was awful. I used to love this place. Expensive for poor quality everything. Place appeared dirty and customer service was disappointing, completely different than when I wrote a review 4 years ago. Will not be spending $40 again for mediocre food. I got the Korean Tacos and Bibimbap. Highly recommended you save your money. :(

Stopped by Bonchon to enjoy their lunch special and let me say, it didn’t disappoint!!! The fried chicken wings were an absolute game changer. The flavor & texture were on point. I’m visiting from another state and I’m going to go home dreaming about this and the bibimbap. Good looking out, Xavier 🙏🏽

My family and I used to love eating at this Bonchon in Downtown Norfolk BUT today was awful. Where do I start? this place has really went downhill. Tables dirty, floors dirty, menus have a film of nastiness just you can feel and smell it. Our food came out and chicken was sub par. Noodles were Terrible! I just was so disappointed. This is my last visit to this restaurant. Don’t waste your time and money eating here. You will be disappointed. It’s sad bc I loved this chicken but I think there was an ownership change and you can definitely tell.

I went there on Tuesday and bought barbecue Korean chicken wings. While I waited I went down the street to insomnia cookies and purchase some peanut butter cookies. Both were so good that I went back on Wednesday and did the same thing. Only this time I bought french fries to go along with the wings. Yeah today was Thursday and I thought about it to hold off until tomorrow until I go back again.

However, I’m a frequent flyer of Bon Chon and this experience was not great!! The menu did not display that the Bulgogi Cheesy rice had mushroom and I received mushrooms in the plate and when I mentioned it, it was like no one cared. I always get this dished and never had mushrooms. I’m just saying Bon Chon this was not okay. I’m going to come back though

We wondered into this place and could not have been more happy. The owner could not have been nicer. The wings were the best I have ever had. My wife is vegan and they custom made a dish for her. Fantastic all around.
On my first visit to Norfolk, this restaurant caught my attention, but the experience was disappointing. When my friends and I walked in, we noticed few available tables, yet no staff member approached us to ask if we wanted to wait, dine in, or take out. The poor attitude from the staff was evident. I will definitely not return and would not recommend this place to any newcomer.
