Brothers Restaurant was my top choice for celebrating my upcoming birthday with my family, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and genuine welcome. The owner was exceptionally friendly and even took pictures with us, adding a personal touch to our evening. The atmosphere—complete with beautiful décor, smooth jazz, and an inviting ambiance—created the perfect setting for our celebration. Our waiter, Javon, was wonderfully attentive and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We traveled from North Carolina to dine here, and it was absolutely worth the trip. I highly recommend Brothers Restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience.

During my child’s prayer he told the Lord thank you for the delicious food today! It made me smile.

The food was amazing and the service was top notch! However, it was a bit warm in there today. I plan on returning before the end of the year. Thank you, thank you! All the very best to you all.

The atmosphere was amazing. Great entertainment. We came to celebrate our anniversary. My husband ordered the seafood feast, which was $55 dollars. I ordered the filet steak $57. My broccoli was extremely salty and mashed potatoes were cold . Cocktails were $18 and higher. When the tab came it was $250.00. Overally prices won’t be returning.

This was my first time dining at Brothers. The food, service and performer were all worth price. I'll be back and will encourage others to come to the brunch as well.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. She ordered the seafood feast, and I had the 6oz steak with lobster tail and mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, my steak was over-seasoned, the lobster was burnt, and my wife’s meal had hair in it.
This was our first visit—and it will be our last. Although the staff offered a small discount, it didn’t make up for the poor experience. Our meals took about 20 minutes to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, and we had to wait another 15–20 minutes for them to remake my wife’s dish. Very disappointing overall.

My birthday was absolutely ruined by this place if I could give 0 stars I would. It was my 21 birthday and I was so excited it was a party of 4. They took our order at exactly 19:50 and everything went bad after that. We waited a hour and some change and no one came over and check on us to see if we wanted anything to snack on in the meantime. Someone finally came over when a friend went over and asked what’s taking so long and they came over 5 minutes later said our order and then proceeded to say “we’re working on it right now” and then I got up and left immediately 2 seconds later. Because what have y’all been doing for the past hour and half when we literally only ordered the fish and the seafood mac and cheese. 4 of us and 2 of us got the same thing and the other 2 got the same thing. That was the worst experience ever. Nobody came over at all and ask us anything if we ok or to tell us why it was taking so long

I attended a Sorority Anniversary Brunch, and it was my first visit to the Brothers Restaurant. The atmosphere and decor make for a welcoming and comfortable visit. The staff were professional, friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating. One word for the food and quality: EXCELLENT! And the entertainment was perfect! Brothers: A great and classy dining experience! I plan to return! Thank you so much!

First thank you to the coordinator that assisted with making setting up a brunch for my sorority's chapter 50th Anniversary. Everything from the service, the ambiance and the food were excellent. The best part was the music. Tobias Cortex was FANTASTIC!! can't wait to go back and experience great food and music.

Food was amazing but they only had decaf coffee for brunch. They eventually got coffee and it was awful. Also the cost for coffee was not included in the price of brunch.

I have no problem with how much I spend on an experience when the experience is worth the money and time. I debated on writing this review however the amount of money and time that was spent on poor customer service and policies that didn't make sense, I wouldn't want anyone wasting their valuable time. I broke down my experience so everyone can get the full picture: 1. The price of the buffet brunch started at $50. With fees and gratuities paid up front, it becomes over $60. 2. As we passed the food getting to ur seats, the first thing I noticed was how many empty and scavenged through chaffer trays. The catfish and shrimp were good on the saltier side but the best thing they had. The crab legs were both old and over cooked. The eggs were comparable to hotel complimentary breakfast eggs. I left out of there STARVING. 3. My whole group and many of the people who were there prepaid for gratuities. Now this event brought in at least 75 people. There were only TWO servers. We sat for 45 minutes eating until we were finally served water. I don't blame the servers. I blame the restaurant completely. 4. Now, this was the kicker that made me leave a review: Out of the 6 of us who came, 2 of us are pregnant. They offer bottomless mimosas (from the ones drinking, they said it was a lack of alcohol). We asked for juice basically their mimosas just without the alcohol. They ended up trying to charge us for juice because they said the same juice that is used in mimosas were an additional charge. As the server could not justify why they would be charging it, I asked to speak to the manager. It was the woman the afro and the extremely unpleasant customer service. She dismissed us when we asked her to explain the charge and said "Say you don't want to pay". Then walked away from us mid-sentence. It was just rude, dismissive, and disappointing. As much as I wanted to support, I can't. However, I loved the live music. That is the only thing 6/6 of us could compliment.

Overall it is good to see a restaurant of this quality in Norfolk. Service was a 10/10. Me and dad went out for dinner trying something new. Big shout out to JR he made an incredible old fashion.
