Great vibe. Nice environment. Staff was really nice and gave me recommendations. I had the fried lobster with a waffle. The lobster was well seasoned and the waffle was delicious one of the better ones I ever had.

I hate to complain about restaurants and say anything negative towards them. After the experience I had here, this place deserves to be shut down. I was dissatisfied and beyond upset with the experience the entire night. To start the night we got there for a dinner of 1 dozen. Some of us were running late. So there was 7 of us. She refused to seat us, EVEN with the table empty reserved for us. I was beyond frustrated because we explained how the rest of us were falling behind on time due to traffic. After 30 min of back and forth she finally sat us. The server took 15 min to come bring us water. Then took our drink orders. 25 min later the drinks come. She then places the orders. I don’t entirely blame the server for the situation , I used to be a server and there was a clear lack of support for this party with only one server and her having other tables. When I worked at the restaurant I worked at, if you had a party, YOU ONLY dealt with your party and that’s it. Let me not forget to mention the restaurant online menu was a LIE, the prices in the actual restaurant reflected completely different. The physical restaurant looks run down And miskept. For the price point of this restaurant it wasn’t worth it at all. After 45 min of placing the order I finally got my food. The server came earlier to tell me that they were out of crab cakes and I said TO SUBSTITUTE it with two sides that’s fine. She bring me the “The sizzle” which I ordered with salmon. That’s not what we agreed upon. Also I REITERATED the fact I wanted MEDIUM rare 3 times and the steak came out FULLY cooked. I knew from previous reviews they would screw that up since I knew reiterating it, would still be screwed up. The mac and cheese and sweet potato mash came. They were both cold as if was sitting there for hours. The mac and cheese, grossest mac and cheese I’ve had in a while. Cold and stale, dripping grease. The steak was alight, would of enjoyed if it wasn’t over cooked. Some people in my party also got their orders wrong and took over an hour to 1.5 hours to get their food. With the disappointment of the food nobody decided to get dessert, we were all desperate to leave this awful environment. THE music was so loud it was unbearable to even hear the person next to you or across. I can’t reiterate DONT come here. This place overall AWFUL. I should of listened to the negative reviews I read before coming. They scam you with their automatic gratuity, they don’t care to have good service since their tips are guaranteed. Any other review that says otherwise could be paid propaganda

Unfortunately I ordered the vegan spaghetti because I saw it on the menu the first time I stumbled upon this establishment. It was just noodles and spaghetti sauce and vegan meatballs, nothing elegant. I think I have make this at home for less! Put some type cheese it! Have heard of vegan parmesan cheese or some type of vegetarian cheese! Maybe a side salad or something extra. My God for 24 dollars, do something smart for a person. Unfortunately the spaghetti not worth it !!!

I went to this place last Thursday, to have a few drinks with a friend. The bartender and other people no sure what their role was, was standing behind the bar have casual conversation. There was only 4 people at the bar. A couple and then me and my friend. The place wasn’t busy either. We sat there for about 10 minutes before we asked the guy that was standing behind the bar near the register, if we could get some drinks he turned around and tapped a girl with short hair that wear glasses, and pointed at us. We had notice this girl was coughing and etc. I said I hope she wash is not sick. She gives us 2 menus, didn’t speak or give us water. We waited an additional 10 minutes for her to get off her phone. She also was coughing and sniffling. So we ended up finally getting her in divided attention. We got rounds of drinks, then we paid and I tipped her. The very next day on Friday, I had a cough that then turned into a full fledged flu. Had I known she was sick I would have left. We thought maybe allergies, because who comes into work sick? And to top it off she didn’t wash her hands, she only put hand sanitizer on them. Sanitizer don’t work if you go back to coughing and sniffling. I attached a screenshot of the message I sent my friend the next day after going to canvas. I work from home, and I haven’t been out the house until that Thursday. I go everywhere with a mask, and I clean my hands all the time I don’t play that

I went to Canvas with 7 people for a birthday dinner. First we had a problem with seating. The young man put a extra chair for us and a young came and said we have to move the chair. So we did. Then we had a problem with the Server attitude It was busy and they only had to servers. Most of the employees are behind the bar and only focusing on certain customers. This was my first time there. The only good experience I had there was the food. The food was amazing but I WILL NOT spend no more money there if they have that same atmosphere. It sucks to have good food to have the worst atmosphere.

My family and I had brunch here. I wasn't sure what to expect but I gave it a try and I was glad I did. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it came with mac and cheese so I had that on the side. Normally I don't enjoy mac and cheese at restaurants but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious! I washed down my food with a mango mimosa, yum! The service was a bit slow but that was probably because the restaurant was packed and I understand why. They played really good music but it was very loud. I would definitely eat here again.

1 Star for the music & the football game,, It was My Birthday,,, Waited Over 45 mins to get my food( it wasn't busy) food brought out in pieces(turkey bacon came 20 mins before the rest of my food), was supposed to have turkey sausage, brought me plate with pork sausage, took it back & put turkey sausage, I probably wouldn't have notice however they left the same eggs with cheese( that I didn't order) on it,(I ordered plain scrambled hard) she repeated my order back to me,,,, To top it off,, My friend ordered a NON ALCOHOLIC DRINK that taste like,she just stuck the straw in to taste( it was gross) she asked for something else & they took the drink back & charged her for it,, this was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE,, I Came two Yrs ago & had a Similar experience,, Thought Maybe I would give it a second try because everybody has bad Day,,, No This is Just a bad PLACE FOR DINING,,, Like I said the Music & TV was Cool,,,

Wish I could leave 10 starts for this establishment is outstanding I had to leave a review, good vibes, wonderful service, chef’s definitely win a full standing ovation anytime I can cut a steak with a plastic knife, season and cooked to perfection, & the shrimp their is no words that I can find to describe the taste with every bite. This was my 2nd visit here. I will be returning. Love the music selection!
