This was part of Dog Scavenger Hunt hosted by Pawsnickety pets. Carolina Cupcakery was decorated so cute for the scavenger hunt having a cute dog house!! They have a great selection of cupcakes it's very hard to decide which ones to order!! I have a soft spot (centrally located on my body) for desserts and I have a weakness for cupcakes!! The lady working was so nice she offered to help me take a picture of my dog for the hunt. I definitely recommend and I have returned a few times!!

I had two cupcakes from here after my lunch today. The peanut butter special was ok. The pecan pie variant was overly frosted. Both cupcakes were sort of dry. Nothing really to the ambiance of the place, there is no seating. I did enjoy the container that the attendant put the cupcakes in.

We were underwhelmed by the cupcakes. They weren't moist and cakey- too dry. The gluten free cupcake (Cherry Almond) was edible, but not enjoyable. Too sweet and too dry

I love a good cupcake. But this place here, the cupcakes were not good to me.My friend decided to get cupcakes after we tried the wings from the War of Wings event. After having saucy and salty we wanted something sweet.She ordered the lemon and strawberry cupcakes.We just wanted to try them, but after the first bite we were disappointed! We did not even finish them.10/10 we do not recommend.Try it at your own risk.This place is located inside Waterside so parking may be difficult. To avoid the headache, park in the nearby garage and walk over.Have fun and enjoy life :)

Whenever I am at Waterside I typically pop in and get my favorite not too sweet but just right cupcake "I Do," an almond flavored cake that just cures my sweet tooth. Came out for the war of the Wings event but had to show some love to a few other spots. The worker was very helpful, as I inquired do they also do Birthday cakes and she informed me that they do at their Battlefield Cupcakery location in Chesapeake. Cupcake was a welcome reprieve from my wings buffet and tasted delicious.

They offer vegan cupcakes which are kept in the fridge behind the counter. Cupcake was dense with a sweet frosting. Slight discount if you pay cash.
I bought hot chocolate with 2% milk. When I tried it, the milk tasted off. After a few sips, I took off the top and turns out the milk was expired and had little chunks inside. I was given expired milk and my stomach feels sick :(

Best cupcake I ever had. I had the almond cake and stroop waffle one so I can't attest to the other flavors but these two were amazing; and so very moist without being sticky.

The cupcakes are really mid and they are inconsistent one day it may be good and the other it’s dry and hard . Cost too much to be that average and inconsistent .
