I’m in the military and I grew up in Chicago where Mexican food is a hidden gem. Moved to San Diego for my 2nd tour in the military and the Mexican food was great especially there mariscos. Now I came to VA and couldn’t find good Mexican food till now. The atmosphere and the design all unique are great. The people were great and nice. Now the food was by far the best in VA and the first time I can great agua Chile since moving out of SD. Their chicken tinga was amazing and tasted like my grandma made it. Their sales are the best I had in the whole east coast from NJ to here. The agua frescos were top tier and wish I got one on the go!

BROO ! ( This some fresh homemade food) soooo if you come here > BE PATIENT ❗️Because that food going come out like if you're moms freshly made it & it's going be fire . I'm so happy with my carnitas , now this is Southern California Carnitas ☝?I've gone Cheseapeak , Virginia , NewportNews .I'm Hispanic so I'm very picky when comes to authentic Mexican food. This was AMAZING ❤️ I'm very happy , I tend be serious . But when tasted my food , smile was on my face !

Yo this place is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD. I’ve lived in the god forsaken Hampton Roads area for way too long and I have yet to find a taco place close to the Cali taco trucks. I am so full as I’m fat girl breathing after having their tacos. It’s a little expensive but the way she loaded my plate was insane and you wouldn’t be able to find that anywhere else (I’ve looked in NC, VA, DC). Also be patient! It’s worth the wait, try the Barbacoa and the shrimp!

I don’t understand what type of restaurant can’t serve more than 5 people at a time… mind you that the place was empty. Just because of the service and the unwillingness to serve the customer…. I don’t recommend the place.
The food is definitely good. It's a small place, the staff is friendly and professional. My daughter and I ate here, the cost was high however we did order few more items. If you're planning to go on a date or pay for a group meal be prepared to pay. I do recommend this place.

This place lacks flavor. LACKS FLAVOR. I had to pour salt on to my dish in order to taste it, and still it was sub par. Our food was warm not hot which really annoyed us. The amount of cheese that was NOT on our plates was concerning, how can you call this Mexican food with a sprinkle of cheese? ELOTE ? was a 5/10 stars ⭐️ and was the best thing we ordered. I ordered a virgin pina colada and it was only pineapple ? juice, I could not taste coconut ? flavor at all. The waitress said “extra creamy like you requested” and it was just pineapple ? juice. We would never come back here and would not suggest to anyone.
