I had high hopes for this restaurant, especially as someone who grew up in the New York/New Jersey area and loves authentic pizza. The place is a bit divey, but I don’t mind that if the food delivers, and it did to a point. The garlic knots were satisfying, the salad was fresh, and the pizza itself was pretty decent.
But, here’s where things went downhill – as we were closing out our bill, I noticed a rodent running along the ledge of the restaurant. Now, I’m not an expert, but it looked more like a rat than a mouse, which is definitely not what you want to see during dinner.
I immediately informed the staff, hoping for a quick reaction, but they seemed unfazed, like this wasn’t news to them at all. I got the distinct impression this wasn’t the first time they’d heard about it.
So, while the food was decent, I can’t see myself ever going back here. If cleanliness matters to you, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other spots that serve good pizza without the side of unwanted guests.

Been going to Cogan’s since I was in high school across the street. Food is always great, atmosphere hasn’t changed and the service is awesome. It does get busy and sometimes there isn’t enough servers so you do end up waiting awhile for service but they are always the realest and nicest people.

The pizza was great? !! BUT The employees seemed to be NOT WELCOMING AT ALL for people who aren’t from the region maybe and looked annoyed while we were making our order and asking for a hot sauce for pizza. It’s really uncomfortable and should be nice to everyone. We should all be welcomed.

I have never been treated the way I was for a $30 dollar pizza... Let me repeat... A $30 pizza. They gave me the wrong pizza, UNDERCOOKED!!! They then gave me an attitude about their mistakes. I personally came back to get the "right" order and guess what... Undercooked. The entire crew who worked on 9/13/2024 needs to be retrained at the very least. I ONLY HOPE TO GOD THE OTHER LOCATION does not use the same staff.

VERY POOR Customer services ! Do not eat here food takes longer then any place I’ve went too. The pizzas crust is very hard. Taste like cheap pizza pick up. Very dirty atomospher full of bugs and nets. Better of going to another pizza joint for better food. Very very unsanitary place

Don’t eat Here ! I seen the workers are filthy. One scratch their head and touched the plates of other people. Dirty restaurant full of flies. Food is absolutely horrible

Ordered take out, asked if there were any specials and if the 1 dollar off desert Friday deal was still active. The response I received was “not for take-out”, no explanation, no reasoning.
That is such an asinine policy to not offer the same offers to customers that come and pick up their order versus those who dine in.
Usually get pizza for employees every weekend on Sunday, however today Charlie gave me every reason never to go back. She was condensending, rude and has terrible customer interaction skills. Always overtop all staff will not be back!

It was kind of busy . We sat down st a table that still had some dirty dishes. We sat. for 20 minutes no waitress. We took the dirty dishes to the bar asked the bartender we needed service. He said they were busy. Sat back down for another 20 minutes. Still no waitress.. we left. By the way today is my birthday

I have no idea why this place isn’t 4.7+ everything was outstanding. If you’re on rhe fence, I promise it will be worth it. Kyle behind the bar was welcoming, friendly, and didn’t waste time delivering refills. Pizza came out quickly and was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Crispy crust, great flavor in both the crust and toppings. I’m already thinking about what I’m going to order next time.
