I’m usually a huge fan of Cogan’s, but our visit to the Ghent location on Saturday, February 14th, was unfortunately a bit of a letdown. My family and I came in expecting the usual high standard, but the service and some of the food just didn't hit the mark this time. The biggest issue was the wait time to get any drinks we ordered and some of my family's food took over an hour to be served. We weren't the only ones, as we noticed several other tables around...
Recently found this pizza spot over the holidays. And I have been back 4-5 times. The pizza is amazing and most definitely the best pizza I have had in the area. The staff was awesome matched well with the cool dive bar atmosphere. Shout out to the cooks that make the top tier food, as well as to my server Adell .

Coogan's used to be a very fine counter culture bar, but the brothers sold the name to an average pizza joint. Carl still owns the building, but it ain't a little bit like the old bar. Yeah. some of the art work is till there. A little bit up the street is Stella's coffee house which is much more like the old Coogan's.
