Love Crackers but heard they were leaving Norfolk. Too bad because that is one of the only decent quality restaurant in the Wards Corner/Riverview area.

We live right down the street so this was a great, walkable treat for us! The food was fantastic with the filet in particular being ultimately impressing. That gorgonzola sauce is to die for, and don't even get me started about the pommes frites. My one complaint would be the cocktails. My extra dirty vodka martini tasted so strange - almost like cloves or cinnamon. I assume that the cocktail shaker was not properly cleaned, or they maybe didn't have dry vermouth because I didn't taste it if it was in there. I've never sent a drink back before and felt so guilty doing so, but it was undrinkable. Our server was nothing but kind and attentive and was happy to bring me a glass of wine instead. My taste buds could have just been completely off, but we enjoyed everything else so completely. We can't wait to come back and maybe try something off the craft cocktail list!

Rotating menu. Variety of tapas. Everything was delicious and service was great. We came on a slow Thursday night and when we walked in were not sure if we were to seat ourselves. Once that was worked out everything was amazing. Will be back.

I love this place. So many great choices of foods and you can mix and match and share. We got wine and the staff were great.

I love tapa, so this place is the exact place I would like to eat. I have been going to this place since it was located on 21st street in Ghent. I liked the atmosphere better in the little place off 21st street. But enough of nostalgia, I still very much enjoy the atmosphere here also. The menu has a wide variety of choices. I particularly liked the special board where they rotate items such as cheeses and meat for the charcuterie board and desserts. I believe the menu changes seasonally maybe more often. They have a variety of options. My wife and I started with the Charcuterie board and then had the deviled egg which were exceptionally good with the fried oysters which were hot and perfect. To round out our meal we choose a couple of vegetables Gochujang Mushrooms and Heirloom tomato salad. The dinner was very enjoyable. The service was excellent. One of the things I liked was that when the food was ready the kitchen staff would sometimes bring out the food. This ensured that the food was hot.In a place like this you can make your dinner expensive or affordable. I error on the side of expensive. Because it usually includes a bottle of wine. Anyway, you eat the food and service is excellent.

Dinner here was incredible to say the least! From the atmosphere, the hostess, the service and the absolutely beautiful presentation of the deliciously prepared food, everything was amazing! I'm sorry I didn't get pictures of the food. I was too blow away. We enjoyed the bread and butter, crab cakes, filet mignon, she crab soup, caprese salad, Caesar salad for dinner. Then the creme brulee cheesecake, and fudgey chocolate cake. The small plates were perfect to split for our table of 4. This is definitely a hidden gem. My first time visiting and will definitely not be my last. Absolutely superb!

This place is the bomb. Scotty is the best and makes great cocktails. The food is awesome and you gotta check it out! Walking distance to Riverview and Lakewood!

Food and service was consistently wonderful. Been going since 1996, both old and new location. Only disappointment was no happy hour menu and prices.

This was my first time visiting. We ordered three different items, all of which were really good! The drinks in particular were phenomenal. It was a little pricey but definitely worth the splurge

What an interesting meal! The four of us shared dish after dish of tasty offerings. The s'mores-making for dessert was a fun way to end the meal. The pace was measured, and the service was outstanding - great attitude, very attentive.

I have been going to Crackers since it was at the original location on 21st street -- Not as regularly as I used to but I still go once every four to six weeks.Crackers Little Bar Bistro has always been a good stop. The food is always creative, delicious and nicely presented. The bar end of the house is great and the staff is always delightful. It is worth saying that this is a review that I can post not after only one or two visits but after many years of visits (I lose track but more than 15 years). They have maintained their consistency and appeal. At the risk of sounding pessimistic, there are so many restaurants that I do not regard as very good or consistent -- I do not like going to a restaurant that CAN be good but you never know if it is going to be a good night or a bad night - Who likes feeling like they just got ripped off? Crackers is one of those places where I have always had a very good experience and they are consistent.
