Great food, very friendly staff. First time here but we will be back! Thanks d’egg for a great breakfast!

Food was standard. Nothing special. Service was decent. Gratuity was included on a bill for 2 people.

Food was great — this is a good spot to grab a filling classic breakfast. I would advise against getting iced coffee specifically though — we ordered iced coffee with syrup, iced coffee is typically $4 so we figured maybe a dollar extra for syrup. The total was $8 instead, which was a whole $4 upcharge simply for syrup. We asked and were told that’s just how it’s priced and they couldn’t do anything about it. However, we did not see this on the menu (otherwise we couldn’t have ordered it).

Absolutely inedible food. Tastes like cardboard. Service is slow. Will never return here. And gratitude is automatically added to the check even for 2 people.

I always love the atmosphere. The food is so delicious. You don’t get the grease the oil. It’s just good eating food.

This was my second time coming here and it was close to closing time so the service sucked and the food was not good either. The pancakes were not mixed well and tasted like dough. There was a scoop of hashbrowns on one plate and then we were told they didn’t have anymore for the other order. I won’t go to this location again.

We were in Norfolk for a wedding and went there twice for breakfast. The food and waitress, Aleya, were GREAT!! On the first day she made sure my husband's coffee was full at all times. The pumpkin pancakes were soooo good. On the second day, she saw we were back and brought him a larger cup. Aleya is a very attentive and friendly waitress. If we are ever back in Norfolk, we will definitely be back!!

If you want to wait a while to be greeted, and then even longer for your food to arrive, this is the place for you.

I normally reframe from negative reviews, I choose to speak with management to help the places be better. HOWEVER, in this case I can only say avoid it altogether. The sub-par food was only surpassed by terrible service.
I wish no ill will to anybody, but this place was just awful on many levels. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your money here. House made corned beef may have been, but not sure which house, certainly not this one. The sausage patty could have doubled as a hockey puck. The iced carmel latte was pure sugar, but we were told it was correct. The graciously deducted only have the cost. The lack of empathy was alarming. They obviously dont care about their business. Be warned dont waste your money here.

Food and service was below average. Worst breakfast I’ve ever had. But, they warned us if you check the fine print at the bottom of the menu. And, you guessed it, they were not surprised or cared that we were dissatisfied.

No wait for the table but after being seated, we waited almost 15 minutes to get a waitress, and I had to get her. First thing in the morning, at least provide coffee. Another long wait for the food and the place was not even busy. The pancakes were dry and tasteless. Poor service.

This was a cute restaurant that was close to our hotel while we were in Norfolk for the jazz festival. The food was decent, nothing to write home about, but it wasn't bad at all. Our waitress was a little sketchy, seemed like she had a lot going on, but she provided decent service. However, I will say that I don't know if it was intentional or if she's not good at math, but we were due $40 back and she only gave us $30, and when I made her aware, she chuckled and said oh yeah that's right. So I don't know what that was about, but I didn't appreciate that at all!!
