Food was great — this is a good spot to grab a filling classic breakfast. I would advise against getting iced coffee specifically though — we ordered iced coffee with syrup, iced coffee is typically $4 so we figured maybe a dollar extra for syrup. The total was $8 instead, which was a whole $4 upcharge simply for syrup. We asked and were told that’s just how it’s priced and they couldn’t do anything about it. D’egg got me through a five show day back to back to back. I may live two hours away but D’eggs aura got me to seize the day or shall I say seize da egg. Love you guys from the cast of Newsies!
We were in Norfolk for a wedding and went there twice for breakfast. The food and waitress, Aleya, were GREAT!! On the first day she made sure my husband's coffee was full at all times. The pumpkin pancakes were soooo good. On the second day, she saw we were back and brought him a larger cup. Aleya is a very attentive and friendly waitress. If we are ever back in Norfolk, we will definitely be back!!
