One of thee best hole in the wall spots Norfolk Va has ever seen. But sadly, all good things must come to an end… as of early April the bar had been temporarily closed due to new ownership and remodeling. When will they be back up and running? Who knows… but I just want to say the original dockside will be greatly missed!!

A classic hole in the wall kind of place. If you go twice you're a regular and the bar staff will never treat you any other way. Cheap drinks and pool tables, jukebox full of music and you can't go wrong with fries chicken strips and fries.

I never believed in Spells or Magic until I met this special spell caster called James Hydrick ,The woman i wanted to marry left me 3 months to our wedding ceremony and my life was turned upside down. she was with me for 5 years and i really love her so much..she left me for another man with no reasons..when i called her she never picked up my calls and she don't want to see me around her…so,when i told James Hydrick what happened he helped me with some readings,and after the readings he told me that the other man has done some spells on my woman and that is the reason why she left me..he told me he will help me cast a love spell to bring her back. It's a smoky, dark and dingy drinking hole for blokes from the dockyard. Lots of TVs showing sport, some arcade games and a really good jukebox. I would recommend it as an easy location if you're on a run ashore.
Parking: Lots of adjacent parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy, street level access throughout.

I just want to leave this place a good review because it is freaking awesome. All the people upset because it is a smoking bar and they can’t order a margarita here have soft hands and need to go back to Ruby Tuesdays. Staff are great and always welcoming. Pool is cheap and jukebox works great. I wish every bar could be like

Like others here, we walked in, had a beer, and quickly left.
There is an incredibly dark vibe, with crotchety old (some young, too) regulars who chain smoke and watch each other and you. There was a loud confrontation between a bartender and a regular, which made things incredibly uncomfortable. To have a bartender screaming and to have such a smart mouth. The patron didn't deserve it.
Besides the vibe, it is very dark and smoky. We were going to order some wings until the person next to us simply said, "Don't."
Dive or not, this one you can skip. It is simply too much.
