I happened to see this restaurant and thought it would be a nice place to eat but I was highly disappointed. Our waiter was nice but he lacked attentiveness. He took our drink and food order which came out in a timely manner. I ordered the $3 chicken tacos and they were by far the most BLANDEST tacos I’ve ever eaten in my life. My husband got the beef tacos which he also found to be bland. So we ordered queso for them and he got another drink. We sat and waited for probably 20 minutes without receiving either of the items. By the time our server came back the other two people we were there with had already ate and we were ready to go. We ended up just getting both items to go so I didn’t get to eat or enjoy my meal at the restaurant. I really wanted to enjoy this place and it sucks that wasn’t the case.

I visited tacos and tequila. Because of TikTok I really enjoyed my server she was great however the little black host with gauges let us know we had 10 minutes left. Which is fine. We read the rules but once he told our waitress our time was up he became VERY VERY PUSHY! At one point began to pack up our table WHILE I WAS PACKING UP OUR FOOD! SO RUDE!!!!!!!!!!! I HONESTLY WAS IN DISBELIEF AS TO WHY THE HOST WAS BEING SO AGGRESSIVE WITHOUT COMMUNICATING WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH OUR WAITRESS!!! We were waiting for our boxes that took our waitress a while to get. I WILL NEVER COME BACK THERE.

Nice little spot with great drinks and festive environment. It was crowded and there was a non-stop line. The DJ was awesome! Prepare to wait for a seat if you get there after 5:00. The food was inexpensive and so were the drinks.

I realize that it has been a long time since I have been here. so there was just me by myself and I ordered the nacho Supremes and sweet tea. the tea tasted like it was a day or two old. when I ordered the tea. I asked for additional ice. it did not come with additional ice. I then requested a glass of ice that I never received. I ended up drinking the water along with my nachos. the nachos were okay. The service stunk. on top of that the menu stated that's a nacho supreme was like 12,15, or 16 dollars or something like that. I was charged $20. I did however leave a cash tip on the table but I'm not even sure the waitress got that because I saw the bus boy pick it up and put it in his pocket. This may explain why I have not been there in some time And why I probably will not go back or recommend this place. There are too many Mexican restaurants in this area to deal with stuff like this in one restaurant.

I'm not sure what happened today. I ordered through Doordash from El Rey #2 last week and everything was delicious. Today, none of the foods were labeled, all the quesadillas are chicken, not a pork Large Quesadilla one like I ordered, I am missing my Guacamole, the Birria Tacos Tray for 2 plate the meat is all dry and the rice was missing from a plate. The tortillas were burnt with black scorching marks on them. Just overall a bad experience. The Texas Burrito plate had the cheese and chilli came out of plate into the bag. It made a mess on everything.

Friendly people amazing food and great atmosphere

Ordered 2 carne asada taco platters on 5/31/25 around 1pm. Whoever cooked the meat did not do a good job. I wouldn't deem it as carne asada. It's more like ground meat and it's very gritty, filled with cartilage. No good sear on it. Didn't have that carne asada flavor. Definitely not the same compared to the first order I got from here. And this isn't the first time this has happened. This inconsistency is not good for business. While this place has decent food, it's never the same. I like to order tacos at least once a week. Just imagine how much money I would have spent in a year, buying tacos from this place. I'll take my business elsewhere.

This place is super inconsistent! We keep trying to give them chances but we’re just done. The first time we tried them they were great so we were excited to find good tacos that deliver. Second time ordering and the steak on the tacos was dry, bland, and crumbled almost like ground beef. That was my first indication that something was off but we decided to try again since the first time was good. The third time ordering was as great as the first. We ordered extra beans and rice and were surprised because they each came in a very large plastic soup container. Fast forward to today and the meat is weird like the second time we ordered. They didn’t give us sauces like they usually do. We got no utensils. The most confusing part about todays experience is that we ordered the exact same extra beans and rice as before but instead of the large containers we got last time, we got two tiny cups for the same price we paid before. What a rip off! I don’t think anyone likes wasting money so I would advise against ordering food from here. It really seems like they don’t care about delivery orders because they don’t have to face the people they’re screwing over. If that’s the case then why offer it??
