As soon as my mans said “…the syrups we make in house…” I knew I was in for a treat. Typically, I get some sort of vanilla coffee/espresso beverage, but Equinox Coffee Co. has a rotating menu of special beverages that is clearly crafted with both love and expertise. I ventured away from my comfort zone, knowing I was in good hands. For my first visit, I tried some sort of black tea steeped coffee with a peach syrup…wow. That was a combination of flavors I have never had before and it was beauuuutiful.

I hope I will have many, many opportunities in the future to patronize this lovely coffee shop and try all there is to try.

For those looking for a modest cup of black coffee? I haven’t tried it (yet) but I think it’s safe to assume you’re in good hands, whatever you order!

Thanks for the coffee (:

Equinox Coffee is a small quaint coffee spot that offers a delightful atmosphere for those working or just taking a few cleansing breaths from the day. They offered several baked goods, including vegan and gluten free options which were tasty. Parking can be a little scarce due to it's location right off the corner of busy Colley Avenue but worth the search. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Will revisit in the near future ❤️.

This place is so super awesome. Great vibes, very pretty inside and the coffee is top notch. We had MJ as our barista and he did a phenomenal job. The cappuccino with mocha and Carmel is 11/10 good. My wife got a matcha and she said she loved it as well. Prices are good too and they have military discount. Definitely recommend this place.

Great coffee and matcha :) the barista Will knows his stuff and love that the syrups are made in house with natural ingredients! They also had a very yummy GF vegan blueberry muffin.

One of my favorite places for both coffee and matcha. I adore the layout of the space and love their music so much, one of my to go spots to do homework or journal!
Service is always great, duh

Try my order: Iced rose latte, extra shot of espresso with oatmilk (I make mine half sweet)

Amazing matcha made the traditional way which is hard to find at local shops. I can tell the barista put a lot of effort into making our drinks which I really appreciate. I got the banana pudding latte as a matcha and my husband got the Mae, both super good. I highly highly recommend getting the Mae. It was ~ $14 for 2 drinks and we didn’t substitute alt. milk. 🍵

I have worked at a coffee roastery for 6 years. There are only 3 coffee shops I will go to in Norfolk. Those 3 are: 1. Vessel Craft Coffee. 2. Kobros. 3. Equinox. Equinox cares about quality coffee and it shows. From their classics like drip, espresso, and pour overs to their craft drinks - the quality is there. Delicious. My husband and I got the following: espresso, cortado, drip, and their current craft special - The Nox, which is a cold brew, Mexican Coke, topped with vanilla cold foam. All 4 drinks were excellent. The service is always thoughtful and kind. The vibes are immaculate, a great place to sit and enjoy your cup. This coffee girlie approves. Cheers!

Truly my favorite new coffee shop! Usually, when I go and try out a new coffee shop I’m never too satisfied with my order! But, I’ve been here three times already and my order was perfect each time! My favorite right now is the Nox Float with a shot of expresso! If you want a boost that’s the go to! Lol. Today, I went with my friend so she can go try it out and we had “The Mae” which is a strawberry Matcha! And wow! It was amazing, & mind you I’m not a Matcha Girly! Great place & great vibes.

This place has no phone number, website does not work and Instagram they barely post. No menu nothing! On to the next coffee shop.

Every time we go to Equinox, we are always so impressed with their menu. Honestly every craft drink we’ve tried from this shop has always wowed us— good syrups!

We went here during a matcha pop-up, where they featured a handful of special matcha craft drinks (the vanilla bean one was deeeelightful 👌⭐️). There was also a very kind gentleman offering samples of a very high quality single-origin matcha from an 11th generation matcha farmer! Everyone was so nice— we had a great visit to Equinox ☕️!
