Drove from the Zoo hoping to get a hotdog and a burger. Arrived and its closed. Its 1:15pm on August 16th. A little upset , but not shattered.
This is a go to for hubby and I when running errands. Love the family that runs the place and they are always pleasant and helpful.

First time coming here and it was absolutely delicious. The owner welcomed us and even cooked. The place was clean and well maintained, even the bathroom! My group had two dogs (Al’s classic and the San Antonio) and a patty melt. The dogs were cooked to perfection with generous toppings. The patty melt was buttery and flavorful. I truly enjoyed coming to this establishment and dining here! Must try if you are in the area

I’ve been going to uncle Al’s hotdogs for a long time. They’re really good and the people are friendly and very professional. I’m glad I had one near me and Greenbrier.

Walked down the street from the Hotel bc this was only non fast food restaurant. Super glad I did! Hotdogs were phenomenal and a huge variety of styles to pick. Fries were greasy and delicious. Reasonably priced and Football apparels everywhere which was a nice touch!

I've been coming to this family owned and operated business before I had a family. Now, I bring my family into this wonderful establishment twice a week. We love it. I get the ATL Dog, and my son gets the popcorn chicken. If you have experienced this location, I highly recommend you to do so !!!

Came in today after hearing alot of good reviews but my order was so horrible , i got a hot dog , burger and fries the burger was horrible and they gave me a old patty that was just sitting on the grill and it taste like old wet dog aka cheap meat the hot dog was okay didnt like the snap to it and i domt think it was beef like i was told and the fries were the best thing but could have been crispy as well i wanted to go get a refund but just said forget it and the customer service was horrible , the girl behind the counter thought it was omay for her daughter to come by the grill n where the food is being prepared didnt like that all im not returning unless a funn restoration bc the soda machine is nasty n taste like nasty old soda and its just depressing definitely for old ppl with no taste buds

We love the food here, but the last three times in less than a year that we’ve attempted to stop by and eat, it’s always closed. And it’s in the middle of the day on the December 26th. It’s a major shopping day!
However, we’ve also been there on weekends and other random days.
As I type this, it’s 12:38 PM. We ended up going across the parking lot to Chik-Fil-A, which was absolutely packed, cars wrapped around the building and a line inside.
Some of those folks could’ve been at Famous Uncle Al’s, but I guess we’ll never know.
I don’t know how y’all stay open, but I guess you’re doing well enough in the few days/hours you are open to stay open.
